Also, she is erronously called weak. However, she often is the one who saves the team. She sits down and thinks things through rather than rushing headlong into problems. Also, she is the one who stops the youma (either by freezing or blinding it), until the other senshi can destroy it. Personally, I don't see "Ice Star Blast" as being very weak, either.
True, she never relaxes. She works hard because she wants to make something of herself. She does, however, know how to have fun. She dances, repairs cars (not something you expect of her), and plays videogames excellently. She also loves to play the harp, although you never see it in the anime, other than her attack. She is almost never seen without a book in hand, and has been known to read an entire book while waiting for Usagi.
We have to remember, though, that she was number 25 in the Three Lights fan club, beating out all of the other senshi!
Ami is not one of my favorite senshi, but I respect her intellegence and her sense of duty. She does hold a very important place in the group. She is extremely unique, as may be seen by such diversities as her extreme sense for being able to "sense" a winning strategy, or something as trivial as her left-handedness and the differences in her fuku as compared to everyone else.
Ami also seems to have the ability to calm others around her, and often acts as the peacemaker..
She values life as well. She looks for the good in everything, and believes "be noble, be honest, be pure. I think these are qualities everyone should emulate."
Personality-wise, it has been said that one of her weaknesses is the fact that she is so shy. Returning to my previous topic, she wasn't shy so much as shunned by others, so she began to withdraw more and more into her books. If one wants to bring her personality into it, I might remind them of her wisdom, compassion, modesty, determination, courage, and dedication.
