Looking back on this show, and others like it, I have to stop and ask myself: why do I bother? The plotlines are cheap, monster of the week, and extremely tedious...
The artwork is superb, on the other hand, and I have to say that there are some interesting characterizations, right down to the unique concept of a lesbian couple in mainstream anime.
Maybe.
I think it's an excuse for me to fantasize. The girls will always win, and Chaos is beaten by the sheer love and power of the light of Order. For a time, I can become Sailor Starfire, Sailor Fire, or Sailor Shadow.
