This was near Monument Station in City but I can't remember which monument it is. Lot of bank buildings around here, just north of London Bridge, and the traffic was super bad.

The real London Bridge is pretty disappointing. It's just this flat, green bridge. The one everybody mistakes for it, is Tower Bridge.
This is the one in all the movies, the one Bridget Jones walked across, etc. Like all the bridges across the Thames (say Tems) it sees considerable traffic. That black catwalk in the foreground is the Belfast, a WWII battleship that's now a museum and they charge WAY too much for hot toffee nuts.
I just really liked the way this looked surreal with the new geometric next to the dowdy old Victorian arcitecture. The skyscrapers in the background look right out of Bladerunner. Incidentally, it wasn't that cold the day I took this, more of a mist than a rain.
