The Ratings are from 1-5, 5 being excellent (classic), and 1 being a waste of time and money.  This will be updated as I see more and more movies.  There will be descriptions about the reason for the rating but not as in depth as the movie links I have above in the link section of this website.  So, if you would like to find more information about that certain movie check out that link! Jays & Silent Bob Strike Back    .75   ----------------------------->Newly Added Movies<---------------------------   ----->Archive<----- Action/Adventure/Thriller 7 (Seven) (1995) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman dominate throughout this movie.  Wonderful movie made with a twisted plot thanks to Kevin Spacey.  The reason why I give it a 3 is because I didn’t see the movie as absolutely fabulous.  I did see the movie as “good” but not on the level as a classic. 12 Monkeys (1995) Rating Given: 1.8 Reason:  Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis star in this thriller based movie.  The movie is very odd and unique say like Seven and American History X.  If you like, both of those movies check this one out.  The movie is pretty interesting but nothing too special. Along Came A Spider (2001) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason: Morgan Freeman stars in this sequel to Kiss Girls, which he was also in.  I found the movie better than expected&ldots;I give my props to Freeman for once again an outstanding performance.  I think this movie is just pretty much equality good/bad so check it out whether or not someone says its bad. Bad Boys (1995) Rating Given: 2.9 Reason:  A fun movie that had a lot of laughs.  I would recommend this movie if you like Will Smith or Martin Lawrence. Bad Company (2002) Rating Given: 2.95 Reason:  I found this movie pretty entertaining.  Chris Rock and Anthony Hopkins star in this action movie that has a weak plot.  I would have enjoyed the movie much better if the plot but overall I enjoyed the action scenes.   Basic (2003) Rating Given: 1.7 Reason:  Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta go at it in this thriller that really doesn't impress anyone.  HINT: Don't waste your time. The Big Lebowski (1998) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  The bottom line for this movie is if you like Coen brothers' movies you will like this movie.  It is very complex in its story line and has some great highlights but not my cup of tea. Boiler Room (2000) Rating Given: 2.35 Reason:  Vin Diesel is not a great actor and its made known in this movie.  This movie opens your eyes to things you didn't think about too much but nothing too great to see. The Bone Collector (1999) Rating Given: 3.25 Reason:  Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie star in this action based movie.  The movie is really pretty decent and I found it enjoyable.  Bourne Identity (2002) Rating Given: 3.15 Reason:  Surprisingly Matt Damon doesn't make another movie horrible.  This movie is full of action and adrenaline.  I found the movie very interesting and probably one of the better movies to come out this summer of 2002.  I would recommend to check it out if you already haven't.  Broken Arrow (1996) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason: John Travolta stars in this action movie with little fizz.  This movie overall has nothing super to say about it; overall I would say its what I call a “blah” movie.  Brotherhood Of The Wolf (2002) Rating Given: 2.35 Reason:  Brought of from France with tons of action for you to check out.  I thought the fighting scenes in this movie were really good.  The problem was the ending of the movie, basically the whole meaning of the movie was really weak.  I didn't dig it once I figured what the movie was all about.    Casino (1995) Rating Given: 3.15 Reason:  This movie is full of good actors and is really entertaining.  The downfall to this movie is that it is a bit too long!  Overall, this movie is very good.  Charlie's Angels (2000) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason:  This movie is just flat out dumb.  There was no real meaning to this movie the only highlight was having Bill Murray in it otherwise don't waste your time watching this.  Con Air (1997) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason: I know this movie is a little older than most of the movies on this page but I thought I’d put it on here anyway.  The reason why I would give this rating the same as MI 2 is because they are about the same on action and the depth of the script.  I do think that the script for this movie was better but not good enough to put as a classic.  I would recommend it though to all you guy movie lovers. Confidence (2003) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  All I can say about this movie is that it was a big disappointment!  I wouldn't recommend seeing this movie; it's not that great. Conspiracy Theory (1997) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason: Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson take hold of this action packed movie.  Gibson does an awesome job with his character and for a change of pace Roberts actually does an action movie.  I would say that this is a real good movie to rent! The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) Rating Given: 2.25 Reason:  This movie had some high and low points but for the most part, it was a pretty entertaining movie.  The plot took a long time to develop but to only end, very quickly&ldots;some points to the movie did not make sense to me either.  I would have to say that movie is “Ok” and nothing more than that. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (2000) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  A movie that has a ton of action but not much of story line.  I was impressed with the cinemaphotography but that is all I really enjoyed in it.  Desperado (1995) Rating Given: 2.1 Reason: Before watching this movie, I had heard good things about it but after I watched it, I quickly learned that it was just “OK”.  Granted there were some cool fighting scenes but that is about it.  I guess this movie is only good enough when you just want to want an action film with some cool scenes. The Devil’s Advocate (1997) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: This movie was an utter disappointment to me.  Lots of people like this movie but I find it terrible.  Very weird and twisted movie&ldots;if you want to watch it, it will take a few times to figure what’s going on.  The Devil’s Own (1997) Rating Given: 1 Reason:  Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford star in this action film together for the first time.  Unfortunately, the movie was really terrible.  They had the talent but the script didn’t; I was really disappointed in it. Die Hard I (1988) Rating Given: 3.85 Reason:  A much better film than the third Die Hard.  This movie is a must to have in your movie collection if you love aciton movies!  Die Hard II: Die Harder (1990) Rating Given: 1.85 Reason:  The middle chapter to the Die Hard Trilogy.  I would say that this is better than Die Hard 3 but I think Die Hard 1 is by far the best one.  If you want to watch a good action flick check out Die Hard 1 and if you want to watch the trilogy unfold check this movie out before the third. Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  Samuel L Jackson and Bruce Willis star in the final piece of the Die Hard trilogy.  The movie is full of action and that is about it.  The action scenes in this movie put it on the map and you will see why if you have not already seen it. Donnie Darko (2001) Rating Given: 3.55 Reason:  This is a movie I recommend watching sometime.  The movie is dark but has meaning behind it.  Watching this movie twice might help you figure out what the movie means.  If you rent or buy the DVD, it will explain those parts of the movie you don't get.  Overall, I recommend it! Dreamcatcher (2003) Rating Given: 2.05 Reason:  Morgan Freeman stars in this whacked out movie.  Let me tell you this is an odd one!  It wasn't that great so don't watch this movie unless you like wacky stuff. Fallen (1998) Rating Given: 2.80 Reason:  Denzel Washington stars in this thriller movie about demons.  I would say the movie is pretty dark and confusing but the ending is what makes the movie good.  If you like thrillers you would like this movie but overall the movie is just "OK". The Fast and Furious (2001) Rating Given: 1.7 Reason: With the awesome previews I told myself that this was a must to see but to my surprise the movie had a spin in it that I didn’t care for.  About three-fourths through the movie I thought the movie was pretty good.  The movie reminded me of Gone In 60 Seconds but not exactly like it.  I thought the movie could have had a better script but that’s the way it goes.  I think the movie had a great idea but they didn’t reach the potential that was expected. Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas (1998) Rating Given: 2.3 Reason:  Johnny Depp does an awesome acting job in this movie and I have given him a lot of respect since seeing this movie.  Overall, the movie is really trippy and hard to follow at times.  If you watch this film I warn you that it will be WEIRD. Fifth Element (1997) Rating Given: 1.2 Reason:  Bruce Willis stars in this bizarre sci-fi movie.  Story that explains that love conquers all...interesting movie but not that wonderful. From Hell (2001) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  Johnny Depp stars in this thrasher film that was "Ok" and that's all I can say about it really.  The Game (1997) Rating Given:  2.0 Reason:  I really didn't like this movie at all.  I thought Michael Douglas did an awesome job acting but other than that I did not like it. Gangs Of New York (2002) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason:  Well this movie is long and very interesting.  I liked it in some sense but others I thought of it as horrible.  I don't think this incredibly great but it's alright.    The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason: Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas star in this action movie based on a true story.  The plot and everything is exciting but not one of the greatest movies out there but it sure is a decent movie. Gladiator (2000) Rating Given: 4.2 Reason: Russell Crowe does an awesome job in this classic in the making movie.  This movie rightfully took over in the box office and rightfully took over those who watched it.  This movie is a must to have in your movie collection! Godfather I (1972) Rating Given: 2.45 Reason:  Well the day has finally come I've watched a Godfather movie.  Now I can say I've been there done that.  This movie isn't as good as it's hyped to be.  If you haven't seen this movie take my advice you haven't missed much.  Gone In 60 Seconds (2000) Rating Given: 3.25 Reason: Yeah, yeah I’m sure you’re thinking “What?!”.  I do know that this script wasn’t too great but I found that the actors/actresses did a great job with what they had.  I found the movie fun and exciting even though I’m not a car fan.  Overall, this is a good movie to check out when you’re in a racing and happy spirit. Goodfellas (1990) Rating Given: 3.8 Reason:  If you want to watch a good gangster film watch this one!  I enjoyed this film much more than Godfather.  If you haven't seen this movie I recommend it! The Goonies (1985) Rating Given: 2.85 Reason:  This is a great family film.  There's not much else I can say about this movie other than, "Hey, You Guys!". Hallow Man (2000) Rating Given: 1 Reason:  Terrible plot and a joke!  I couldn’t decide if it was supposed to be scary or funny. Heat (1995) Rating Given: 3 Reason: Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino go head to head literally in this flick.  The movie is a bit long and slow through most of it unfortunately and it got my hopes down.  The action was so-so and the acting was great but everything else to me seemed a bit blah.  I think the movie could have been better but hey, I’m just a critic. Hidalgo (2004) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  Neither spectacular nor awful.  This movie did have a few things in it that were unrealistic with the special effects but overall its not out of control. Bottom line if you love horses you will like this movie.  Hollywood Homicide (2003) Rating Given: 1.85 Reason:  Harrison Ford stars in this movie that I thought had good potential. Boy was I wrong, this movie really wasn't good! The Hunted (2003) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  I was not impressed with either actors on this movie.  There is an unrealistic ending and a overall disappointing movie. Identity (2003) Rating Given: 2.2 Reason:  Thriller movie that can make you think...thats a good idea but I think this movie was a bit too much for most people to understand.  I would have to say the movie could have been better if it had a conclusive ending.  Insomnia (2002) Rating Given: 3 Reason:  Al Pacino and Robin Williams pair up against each other in this action/drama movie.  I thought the movie was pretty good, kinda depressing but other that it is pretty good.  I would recommend a view of this movie if you are a Pacino or Williams fan. The Italian Job (2003) Rating Given: 3.1 Reason:  A remake of the 1969 film isn't a "wonderful" movie but a fun movie more so than anything.  It has a lot of action in it but that's about it.  Jaws (1975) Rating Given: 4.0 Reason:  Yes, I know this movie is a classic.  I did give it a decent rating but its just not my favorites...but its a great movie if you haven't already seen it. Joy Ride (2001) Rating Given: 3.6 Reason:  I would have to say I was pretty pleased with this movie for some odd reason.  The acting wasn't the greatest but the movie kept me on my toes.  I thought this was a wonderful thriller and would recommend it to be seen! Jurassic Park III (2001) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: Well I have to say that I really didn’t want to see this movie in theatres since nothing else was interesting to me I thought I’d give it a try.  I thought the movie was better than the second but other than that, it’s predictable and like the other Jurassic’s. Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason: After first seeing this film I was uninterested but after rethinking the movie over, I really enjoyed the different elements in the movie.  All in all, I'm really looking to see the second part to see if this movie was just getting my hopes up or it actually was a a good movie. A Knight’s Tale (2001) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason: Mr. teen boy from The Patriot steps out and takes the lead role of this comedy/action movie.  Unfortunately, the movie isn’t good, maybe next time Mr. teenybopper!  If you truly want to see, this movie wait till its out to rent&ldots;don’t waste your money now on it! Knockaround Guys (2002) Rating Given: 1.3 Reason: Vin Diesel=Crap.  Therefore this movie is crap...whoever thinks Vin Diesel has it let me know.  I'll punch their face in. :o) LA Confidential (1997) Rating Given: 3 Reason: A big movie with big actors should rock some people’s boats but not mine.  Overall, it’s “OK” but not everything it has been lived up to be. The Last Castle (2001) Rating Given: 3.15 Reason:  Robert Redford and a bunch of others stars in this decent movie about patriotism, in my opinion.  It keeps you on your seat once the middle of the movie hits but before that its a little slow.  Last Samurai (2003) Rating Given: 3.65 Reason:  Ending killed this movie from a better rating.  Overall, I was more impressed with the Japanese actors and the scenery than anything.  Lethal Weapon 1 (1987) Rating Given: 3.4 Reason:  Much better than the fourth...this is another classic action movie that is a must to see if you love action movies. Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) Rating Given: 1.8 Reason:  The worst Lethal Weapon ever made.  I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone! Lethal Weapon 3 (1992) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  This is on the "better" side of the Lethal Weapon chapters.  This movie had laughs and had action.  A great combo for the early 90s.  It's not the best but its better than the 2nd and the 4th. Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  Mel Gibson and the crew add comic Chris Rock in this action movie.  The movie is not that great but it does have some funny times and some good action scenes&ldots;it really does not stick out more than the other Lethal Weapons. Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels (1998) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  With the same director as Snatch this movie gives you the feel that Snatch did.  The only difference between the two is Brad Pitt and a few years.  This movie wasn't fabulous but definitely had a better script than Snatch did. The Magnificent Seven (1960) Rating Given: 3.45 Reason:  A classic western movie that has it all.  This is a great film to watch with a ton of action!  I recommend this one. The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  This Alfred Hitchcock movie wasn't that good in my book.  I wasn't too thrilled with it at all and would have to say this is one of the worst Hitchcock movies that I have seen. Master and Commander: The Far Side Of The World (2003) Rating Given: 2.3 Reason:  Did not like this movie.  It dragged so bad in the middle I had hard time keeping my head up...not sure why everyone else liked it. Matchstick Men (2003) Rating Given: 3.9 Reason:  I thought this movie rocked!  I really thought it was clever and really interesting movie.  I would recommend this one! Maverick (1994) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason: Mel Gibson stars in this movie about gambling.  The movie isn't really serious but it does have a bunch of laughs.  I would have to say this movie was more a "family" movie than anything else but there were a few things that make it more for adults.   The Mexican (2001) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason:  This movie has two big time actors and doesn’t utilize all of their talents in this frustrating yet action packed movie chasing after a sacred pistol called “The Mexican”.  The movie has the potential to be good but it’s complicated plot made me more frustrated than anything else. Mission Impossible II (2000) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason: The second Mission is full of special effects and action but lacks in the story line as the first one had.  If you are looking for good action and not much, else I’d see this flick. The Mummy Returns (2001) Rating Given: .75 Reason: I found this movie a waste of time and money&ldots;. and no its not better than the first one. Narc (2002) Rating Given: 3.1 Reason:  This movie is really dark but I liked how it ended.  It definitely isn't a normal "cop" movie.  I liked the way how they thought that out! Natural Born Killers (1994) Rating Given: .5 Reason: This movie was made for all those who are tripping on acid.  I would have to say that this movie is at the same level of bad, as ‘Hollow Man’ don’t waste your time watching this it’s trash.  The only cool thing about it is some of the cinematography but that’s it not worth anything really. North By Northwest (1959) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  Another Alfred Hitchcock film that gets you on your edge of your seat...and its very suspenseful.  The movie isn't Hitchcock's best but it is a good movie.  Notorious (1946) Rating Given: 3.65 Reason: Another classic Hitchcock film that is very enjoyable.  I wouldn't say it is his best but its good. Ocean's 11 (1960) Rating Given: 2 Reason:  This version is completely different than the 2001 release with a completely different ending.  I found the beginning a bit slow but it eventually sped up a bit towards at the end.  It is interesting to watch though and if you want to watch it you won't be disappointed with the ending.  Ocean’s 11 (2001) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason: Thinking this movie could be the next “Super” hit with the full cast of superstars such as Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and so on.  Well the movie was pretty good but the only problem is that the talent was not used, as it should have.  Overall, I thought the movie was “Ok” but nothing super special. Once Upon A Time In Mexico (2003) Rating Given: 2.1 Reason: The plot was horrible and the movie focused too much on the flashiness of it...overall a bad movie! Open Range (2003) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  Kevin Costner goes back to his Dances With Wolves theme and pulls out another decent western.  Maybe he should say in this genre?!? The Others (2001) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  Nicole Kidman stars in this thriller movie that really wastes your time.  This movie does have one thing going for it and that is the ending.  Everything else in this movie you can fast forward and you wouldn't miss a thing. Out Of Sight (1998) Rating Given: 2.25 Reason:  Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney go head to head in this bank robbery based action movie.  The script is pretty sharp and the use of the camera is pretty amazing.  To me it seemed the movie really didn’t go anywhere&ldots;it had a lot of options but it pretty much was predictable.  This movie had a ton of potential but nothing really happened unfortunately. Out Of Time (2003) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  Disappointing is all I can say about this... Panic Room (2002) Rating Given: 2.35 Reason:  A thriller movie that wasn't too fabulous.  It was suspenseful but a lot of frustrating things happened in the movie that I'm sure wouldn't have happened if it was "real" life.  The Peacemaker (1997) Rating Given: 2.20 Reason:  George Clooney and Nicole Kidman carry this movie much farther than I thought!  I thought this movie was really pretty good&ldots;I wouldn’t say that it was incredible but it’s an “Ok” movie.  I think this movie would be a great movie to rent. The Perfect Storm (2000) Rating Given: 2.7 Reason: George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg join together again, (they were in Three Kings together), this time with a fishing flick.  The movie has pretty good special effects but a superficial boring plot with hardly any twists.  From the beginning of the movie, I knew exactly what was going to happen which is a disadvantage to the movie.  Overall not a bad flick but not an awesome flick either&ldots;so therefore the movie sits in what I would call my “OK” range. Phone Booth (2003) Rating Given:  3.40 Reason:  This movie was great!  I really liked the creativity and the simplicity of the content but if you think about it, it's more than just a phone booth.  Check this one out! Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl (2003) Rating Given: 4.05 Reason:  This could possibly the best movie of the summer and the year.  I thought this movie had everything needed to be a hit.  Check this out if you haven't already! Primal Fear (1996) Rating Given: 2.25 Reason:  Ed Norton and Richard Gere star in this drama that pulls a surprise ending.  I wasn't too fond of the movie but since the movie had such a twist at the ending it made the movie more interesting.  It isn't the greatest movie in the world but it's also not the worst. Psycho (1960) Rating Given: 3.7 Reason:  Definitely the best version and a great Hitchcock film.  Its not my favorite Hitchcock movie but its really good! Psycho (1998) Rating Given: 1.4 Reason:  Plain simple this movie wasn't that entertaining or that great.  I didn't like it. Pulp Fiction (1994) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason:  Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta star in this action movie that really didn't seem to me as a good movie.  I like a few parts to the movie but overall I really didn't like it. Raging Bull (1980) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  Another classic gangster type of movie with Joe Pesci involved somehow.  I liked it but I wouldn't say its the best of the gangster genre. Rear Window (1954) Rating Given:  3.75 Reason:  All I can say is Hitchcock is the man!  This movie is not only unique but very entertaining.  I would recommend this movie.  The Recruit (2003) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  Al Pacino and Colin Farrell star in this action movie based on the CIA.  I would have to say this movie would have got a higher rating if it wasn't for the ending.  I thought the movie would have better if they ended it some other way.  Red Dragon (2002) Rating Given:  2.75 Reason:  The prequel to Silence of the Lambs stars Edward Norton and Anthony Hopkins.  I really thought this was a decent movie.  It wasn't as good as Silence of the Lambs but it was still "Ok".   Requiem For A Dream (2000) Rating Given: 3 Reason: The director from Pie (3.14) comes up with some "Big" named actors and ends up making a decent movie.  The story line is very very interesting if you pay close attention.  The movie is a little dark like Pie but ends with a appropriate ending.  The cinematography was also a big part of this movie but seems to fit in a lot better than it did with Pie.  I would recommend checking this movie out but don't expect it to be a happy movie. Reign Of Fire (2002) Rating Given: 1.8 Reason:  This had some good action and nice digital work with the dragons BUT the plot is not that great.  This movie is a bit of a stretch.  They did what they could with it and with that I'll be somewhat generous.    Reservoir Dogs (1992) Rating Given: 2.25 Reason: This movie is full of action and a lot of blood.  If you are enthusiast of those types then watch this movie otherwise, it is an “Ok” movie with a stupid ending.  Robin Hood - Prince Of Thieves (1991) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason: An overall good film with lots of action.  I liked what was done in the film.  Run Lola Run (1999) Rating Given: 2.90 Reason:  A foreign film that received great reviews from many people brought my attention to check out this movie.  Once I did, I was surprised to see that this movie had a simple idea and made a great movie.  The whole idea was taking one scenario and looking at three different options which could have happened.  I was entertained to say the least with this movie. Scarface (1983) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  "Say hello to my little friend," yea thats right Al Pacino does an amazing job in this film.  I'm not a huge fan of this movie BUT I do have to say that money does ruin people lives if they get to indulged in it.  This movie had an interesting story to it...but not my flava.   The Score (2001) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason:  This movie reminds me so much of Heat it’s freaky.  The role that DeNiro plays is almost the same as his role in Heat but I do think that the movie is better than Heat.  Edward Norton pulls his fair share of the load and helps carry the movie.  I think the movie could have been a bit better but overall I thought it was “Ok”. Sergeant York (1941) Rating Given: 3.4 Reason:  A truly amazing movie about how a person's life can change so quickly for the better.  This movie gave me a lot of hope and a great feeling after I watched it.  I would recommend this one to those who haven't seen it. The Shining (1980) Rating Given:  2.0 Reason:  Jack Nicholson does a wonderful job acting in this movie but I really didn't dig it.  I felt it was pretty dark and the leading actress was annoying. The Siege (1998) Rating Given: 1.60 Reason:  Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington go at it in this movie and boy does this movie go nowhere.  This movie was really, really not good.  I would recommend NOT checking this movie out. Signs (2002) Rating Given: 1.85 Reason:  In a brief sentence I will say this...VERY DISAPPOINTING.  I expected this to be one of the best movies of the summer and ended up putting it with all the average movies.  The movie seems to start off pretty decent but ended really really bad.  The character that Mel Gibson's plays is a very shallow spiritual leader and makes me a little depressed with his faith or lack of.  Silence of the Lambs (1991) Rating Given: 2.1 Reason:  The first of the trilogy, which includes Hannibal and Red Dragon, brings wonderful acting thanks to Anthony Hopkins.  I found the movie pretty good but this really isn't my cup of tea.  Overall, I found this movie "OK". Sixth Day (2000) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: Very disappointing movie, I would not recommend this one even if you are a die hard Arnold fan.  Sleepy Hallow (1999) Rating Given: 2.8 Reason:  Johnny Depp at it again with another weird role.  I thought Tim Burton did a good job directing but I wouldn't say it is his best. Snatch (2001) Rating Given: 3 Reason: Brad Pitt plays in a movie kinda in the likes of Fight Club but a lot weirder if you can imagine that.  If you are a Brad Pitt fan you should see this movie otherwise everything else is pretty much same ole same ole. Spy Game (2001) Rating Given:  2.75 Reason:  Robert Redford and Brad Pitt star in the action movie that didn't end that great.  From the beginning the movie seemed interesting but getting towards the end of the movie it seemed to be running out of material or something.  I think the movie could have been better but that's the way it goes. Strangers On A Train (1951) Rating Given: 3.45 Reason:  Hitchcock is back at it again...and I really thought this one was good.  It's basically a movie about having stalkers, especially if you are famous.  The movie had a lot of suspense and was an overall good movie. Sum Of All Fears (2002) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason: Morgan Freeman and Ben Affleck star in another Jack Ryan film.  Affleck fills in the place of Harrison Ford and this movie fails to meet Ford's standards.  Suspicion (1941) Rating Given: 3.6 Reason: Alfred Hitchcock directs another spectacular film.  This movie isn't at the level of Rear Window or Vertigo but it definitely is on the top 5 greatest films Hitchcock ever directed.  S.W.A.T. (2003) Rating Given: 2.55 Reason:  Modern version of Speed in my opinion...but not as good. Swordfish (2001) Rating Given: 2 Reason: Well I thought this could be a huge summer hit and it still could be but in my opinion notta.  This movie is filled with good actors/actresses but the movie’s twists and turns end up twisted.  I really didn’t get what I expected out of the movie and I don’t think you will either if you saw the previews.  In my opinion, I think the movie isn’t that bad but it isn’t awesome.  It is up to you if you want to pay 8 bucks or so on seeing it in theatres. Taxi Driver (1976) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason: Robert De Niro plays a taxi driver who drives the movie to stinkville.  This movie is a bit dated but it still stinks&ldots;a recommend not to watch! Tomb Raider (2001) Rating Given: 1.1 Reason:  This movie reminded me a bit too much of The Mummy Returns if any of you seen that movie you have pretty much seen this movie.  I thought the movie was way too overrated but if you dig Angelina Jolie, I guess this is one of those movies to see her.  In all forms of cinema photography, this movie was just blah&ldots;nothing to it. Top Gun (1986) Rating Given: 2.85 Reason:  A "classic" 80s film with all the bells and whistles at that time.  I would have to say that the action is pretty cool and stuff but it wasn't a "classic" in my book.  Training Day (2001) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason: Awesome acting on both Ethan Hawke and Denzel Washington but unfortunately the movie is too dark.  Denzel's role is definitely something new and something you wouldn't expect.  I think the movie would have been better if it wasn't so rough and dark. The Transporter (2002) Rating Given: 1.20 Reason:  Only one thing good about this film...and that is action.  There is one cool scene as far as everything else, it was horrible! True Romance (1993) Rating Given: 3.1 Reason:  This movie was really pretty good.  I thought it has the pieces to be a good movie but the only downfall to this movie is that it was a bit dark. Unbreakable (2000) Rating Given: .75 Reason:  Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson reunite (Die Hard) and star together in this action-thriller movie.  To describe the movie would be hard for me to do since there was not much to it.  I would have to say that this movie was a big disappointment, do not waste your time.  Unforgiven (1992) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  Clint Eastwood directed this Academy Award winner starring Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman.  The acting in this movie is superb but the movie in my opinion wasn't that great.  The Usual Suspects (1995) Rating Given: 3.85 Reason: All I have to say about this is this movie is great!  If you haven't seen it, do!  This movie has everything you would ever want in a movie.  Check it out dogg! The Untouchables (1987) Rating Given: 2.9 Reason:  Kevin Costner and others starred in this star studded movie.  Unfortunately this movie didn't live up to my expectations.  I thought the movie had plenty of potential but that's it.  Its a fizzle! Vertical Limit (2000) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason: I would have to say that this movie was very fast paced and full of action.  However, I felt the depth of the script was lacking hence the “OK” rating.  I would also have to say that the acting wasn’t that great either.  Vertigo (1958) Rating Given:  4.0 Reason:  This movie was spectacular.  I really dig Hitchcock and his creativity.  What a wonderful film! The Way Of The Gun (2000) Rating Given: 1.7 Reason: This is a modern western starring Benicio Del Toro and Ryan Phillippe.  Overall this movie has some good points but doesn't measure up to some the older western style movies. What Lies Beneath (2000) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason: I thought this movie was really lame.  I am a big fan of Harrison Ford but in this movie, I thought he didn’t do so well.  The ending to the movie made no sense really&ldots;I thought it was dumb. The Wrong Man (1956) Rating Given: 3.30 Reason:  This Alfred Hitchcock movie is based on a true story.  It's not his best work but it is interesting that he used one of his friend's problems and made a movie out of it.  It keeps you on the edge of your seat and is suspenseful just like all other Hitchcock films.  Overall, it's not his best but its definitely good. XXX (2002) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason: This movie is full of action but non-sense action.  Most of the action scenes never make any sense.  I found this movie not too exciting or worth my time.   Animation Batman Beyond: Return of Joker (2000) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  A wonderful animation movie with tons of action...good to see for the whole family! The Emperor’s New Groove (2000) Rating Given: 3.25 Reason:  This movie is hilarious!  Probably in the top three animation movies, I have ever seen.  I highly recommend this movie&ldots;it is great for everyone in the family!  Get this movie sometime you will not regret it. Finding Nemo (2003) Rating Given: 3.4 Reason: This is a pretty good movie made by Pixar but it is not better than Toy Story at all.  The highlight to this movie is definitely the turtles. Ice Age (2002) Rating Given: 2.25 Reason:  This doesn't have the spark of Shrek or The Emperor's New Groove.  There are some funny parts to the movie but nothing to outstanding.  Its a "OK" movie but nothing too flashy or funny. Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie (2002) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  Big disappointment in this movie.  This didn't have all the laughs like the regular episodes.  I was expecting more than what the movie gave.  I thought the content was good, as well as the deleted scenes, but everything else was mediocre. Monsters, Inc. (2001) Rating Given: 1 Reason:  I was hoping for something a little better than this from Pixar, who have made Toy Story, and found this movie very unentertaining.  Definitely one of the worst animation movies I've seen in the four years.  Highlight in the movie is actually in the first two minutes, so if you do have time for this movie watch the first two minutes (the preshow), then you've seen it all!  Shrek (2001) Rating Given: 2.8 Reason:  I would have to say this is one of the best animation type movies I have ever seen.  I definitely recommend this movie for all ages.  The movie is full of laughs and just a lot of fun!  Check it out! Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) Rating Given: 2 Reason:  This is not a normal cartoon movie and you can tell from the beginning.  This movie has a more realistic approach but I feel the movie wasn't that exciting.  Everything could be predicted and that takes the whole fun away from the movie.  Comedy  American Wedding (2003) Rating Given: 1.85 Reason:  Hopefully the third and final American Pie movie...this movie has a few laughs but its really not worth your time. The Animal (2001) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: This movie has nothing really good to say about it other than the fact that it has a scene where a man is wrestling an ape, which is awkward but a good laugh.  Anyway the movie was a waste of time and money&ldots;. and no its not funny. Austin Power's Goldmember (2002) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason:  This by far is the worst Austin Power's to date.  There are a few funny parts and the jokes get dragged to the ground.  I would wait to see this till it comes the rentals if you really are desperate to see it.  Otherwise if you are curious take my recommendation don't watch it! Barbershop (2002) Rating Given:  3.0 Reason:  This movie was a surprise.  I would suggest this movie...even though I didn't rate it that high.  I enjoyed this movie...nothing too spectacular other than a pretty good story. Bedazzled (2000) Rating Given: .8 Reason:  This movie is horrible...very close on making the top 10 worst.  It does have some good points...but it's just flat out dumb.  Being John Malkovich (1999) Rating Given: 1.9 Reason:  If you haven't already seen this movie be prepared...its very odd.  I do have to give it some props on being unique but thats about it.  The movie is very different and unique but its not worth watching. Best In Show (2000) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  In this overrated movie you will see dogs and lots of them.  This movie is no where near the classic movie This Is Spinal Tap.  I didn't find it funny really; I was highly disappointed in it. Billy Madison (1995) Rating Given: 2 Reason: Old Adam Sandler that many see as a “classic” but I saw it as none other than just other one of his goofy movies.  Movie really had nothing special about it and nothing much to say about it other than having Chris Farley as the highlight.  It’s just a blah comedy plain and simple. Black Sheep (1996) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  I like to refer this movie as Tommy Boy part 2 and that's just it, this movie is no where near Tommy Boy but it sure has some good points! Bruce Almighty (2003) Rating Given: 2.3 Reason: Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman star in this movie that has a few laughs but nothing too spectacular. Chasing Amy (1997) Rating Given: .5 Reason:  Another one of the failures to the continuous Jay & Silent Bob movies&ldots;nothing good about this movie at all.  Don’t watch it! Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke (1978) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  I believe this is the most widely known Cheech & Chong movie out there and it has some laughs.  It's not the greatest comedy movie ever made but it has influenced the new comedy movies of today.   Dude, Where’s My Car (2000) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: This movie has its ups and downs but for the most part the movie is on the downside.  Granted it does have its moments but for the most part its full of dumb parts.  I think this movie is good for the dorks out there in the world but that’s about it.  Dumb & Dumber (1994) Rating Given: 2.6 Reason:  Now this is a classic comedy movie.  Jim Carrey’s big hit after Ace Ventura&ldots;and you will see that if you have not seen it already.  It is becoming an older movie now but this is a classic comedy that should be in the movie collection at home. Elf (2003) Rating Given: 3.8 Reason:  Starts off with a rough 15 minute start but after that it gets good fast.  This movie is a classic Christmas movie that will need to be added with the likes of Christmas Story and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  Everyone says this movie is a classic comedy but I did not see that at all.  Granted some of it was funny but it got old fast.  To me this movie was nowhere near the classics of comedy.  Hollywood Shuffle (1987) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason: This movie is a classic 1980s comedy which has a good message.  I wasn't that thrilled about the movie but it was nice to see that there was a message behind the whole craziness.  Overall, the movie was "OK". Liar, Liar (1997) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: Another Jim Carrey film that really fizzles out.  I did think some parts in the movie were funny but for the most part this movie sucked.  The movie did not have much to it and not much really done with it.  If you want to watch, Jim Carrey films don’t watch this one! Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (2001) Rating Given: .75 Reason: This movie is a bomb and a half if I’ve ever seen one.  The Jay & Silent Bob have been going at it since Mallrats but unfortunately, they don’t get any better as time goes by.  Recommend that you don’t watch this movie!  If you want to see, Jay & Silent Bob watch one of their other movies. Joe Dirt (2001) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason: I came into this movie really expecting a good laugh and time but I was thrown a bit&ldots;the movie was more dramatic than anything, granted it had its funny parts, but this movie is about the sad life of Joe Dirt.  If you are going to this movie for a laugh be ready for a shock.  It’s an “OK” movie that isn’t really looking for laughs so much as it’s perceived as. Mallrats (1995) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: I would have to say this movie is a bit older but I thought I’d put it down anyway.  I found this movie had some good one-liners but other than that&ldots;nothin’!  I think that gives you a good idea how I feel about this movie. Meet The Parents (2000) Rating Given: 3.00 Reason: This is a movie I could see being a classic down the road&ldots;this movie is full of laughs.  In my opinion, it’s not the best comedy out there but it is one of the better ones.  Overall, I would recommend this one to check out. Monty Python & the Holy Grail (1975) Rating Given: 3 Reason: This classic comedy movie will influence comedy movies for all time and then some.  The comedy level seems to be intellectual at times but overall it is a great movie to watch when you are in a goofy mood. Mr Deeds (2002) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason:  Adam Sandler goes for another comedy and ends up not getting any better than his earlier films.  It seems as if his movies are getting only worse as each film passes by.  I think this movie could have been better...but it would definitely take a lot...if you like Sandler wait till video, you will thank me later.  My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  I throughly enjoyed this film a lot.  The movie has no big named actors but it does not matter.  The movie is a great film to watch with plenty of laughs.  National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002) Rating Given: 2.35 Reason:  This movie was much like Old School in a sense but not as good.  I thought there were some really gross parts and went a bit too far with the jokes. Next Friday (2000) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason:  The sequal to 'Friday' left me wondering if that movie was better or worse than its forefather.  There were some funny parts in this movie but there were not a whole lot.  Not Another Teen Movie (2001) Rating Given: .5 Reason:  This movie is also known with its moments.  Honestly, I think there was like three and that is it.  If you have, nothing else to do watch this movie otherwise find something else to do. Nurse Betty (2000) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason: Did not like this movie at all.  Don't waste your time! Nutty Professor II (The Klumps) (2000) Rating Given: 3.75 Reason: Starts off with a bang and fizzles the rest of the way.  I myself find this Nutty Professor funnier and better than its preceding one but find that the movie leaves out a lot of potential.  Overall, I find the movie at an “OK” to “Good” rating. Office Space (1999) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason: I heard great raves about this movie saying that it was hilarious so I went out and bought it.  I’d learned quickly that I had made a mistake.  The movie wasn’t really that funny and I was a bit disappointed.  If you hear anything good about this movie blow it off ‘cause it’s nowhere near Tommy Boy or Dumb and Dumber. Old School (2003) Rating Given: 2.25 Reason:  I would have to say this movie isn't that great.  The movie wasn't funny nor does it deserve a sequel. Orange County (2002) Rating Given: 1.00 Reason:  This movie placed itself on the top ten worst with Hallow Man...if you saw that movie you get my just.  This movie totally stunk.  Recommendation - don't watch! Out Cold (2001) Rating Given: 1.15 Reason:  This movie was also another one of the worst I have seen in a while.  Granted there are a few parts of laughter but other than that it is a waste of time. Raising Arizona (1987) Rating Given: 1.7 Reason:  One of Nicholas Cage's first film's he's ever done and let me tell you, if you haven't seen it, you didn't miss much.  This movie really wasn't that exciting nor entertaining. Rat Race (2001) Rating Given: .50 Reason:  Man this movie was horrible...nothing funny about it.  Flat out waste of my time! Rush Hour (1998) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason: One of my favorite Jackie Chan movies of all time!  Chan has a funny but stupid sidekick, which is played by Chris Tucker, which makes the movie fun.  Overall I would call this an “OK” movie nothing too special. Rush Hour 2 (2001) Rating Given: 1.65 Reason:  Highly anticipated follow up to one of Jackie Chan’s best movies.  If any of you are thinking this will be like the past Rush Hour, you are wrong.  The characters seem a bit different and to me didn’t seem as funny as the first.  The script uses many references to the first Rush Hour so if any of you are going to see this one before the first it may be a bit odd.  I think the movie is fun though but other than that nothing to flashy or funny. Screwed (2000) Rating Given: 1.2 Reason:  Horrible comedy...don't watch this junk.  See Spot Run (2001) Rating Given: 1.15 Reason:  The title says it all --> this sounds dumb.  You got it, its dumb; David Arquette stars in another stupid movie.  When is he ever going to be on a good film?  I don't think it will ever happen if he continues the path he's making for himself right now.  Slackers (2002) Rating Given: 1.30 Reason:  This comedy movie is like all the other mediocre comedy movies...few funny parts and that is it.  This movie was predictable and had a dumb ending.  Overall, I wouldn't recommend this movie. Something About Mary (1998) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason:  This movie had its funny parts but sometimes it was a bit too much.  I would call the grotesqueness close to Me, Myself, and Irene type of movie.  I wouldn't recommend this for children to watch and really don't really recommend anyone to watch it really.  If you really want to watch it feel free but beware it may not be as funny as you expect.  Summer Rental (1985) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason:  A comedy starring the famous John Candy and I would have to say it is not one of his best movies.  I think Uncle Buck is one of my favorites starring Candy but if you are an avid fan of Candy check this one out for kicks. This Is Spinal Tap (1984) Rating Given: 3.15 Reason:  Stated as a "cult classic" and you can easily see that after you view this movie just once.  The movie is funny and the music is funny too.  If you want a good laugh check this movie out.    Tomcats (2001) Rating Given: .80 Reason:  Only one part that was funny the rest was just so dumb I couldn't believe someone watched and liked this movie.  Don't watch this crude! Wayne’s World (1992) Rating Given: 3 Reason:  A definite classic!  This movie is a must to see and buy!  Overall, it was full of laughs and new ideas&ldots;completely awesome movie! Wayne's World II (1993) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  I would say that this movie was pretty good but not as good as the first...still a funny movie to see on the weekend when you are bored.  The Wedding Singer (1998) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  Not the best Adam Sandler out there&ldots;but I do think that it does has some laughs in it.  I thought some parts were really dumb...my personal feeling about it all is that if you want to see a good Adam Sandler movie don’t see this one. Young Frankenstein (1974) Rating Given: 1.7 Reason:  This is stated as one of Mel Brooks's greatest, I would highly disagree.  I found a few things funny about this movie but overall it was not very enjoyable. Drama 25th Hour (2002) Rating Given: 2.7 Reason:  Ed Norton stars in a Spike Lee joint dealing with going to jail.  Overall, the movie didn't have much going with it but it did make you think. 28 Days (2000) Rating Given: 1.2 Reason:  Sandra Bullock stars in this movie about addiction.  This movie is not a typical Bullock movie but it gets the job done sometimes.  There are a few entertaining parts to the movie but nothing too fancy.  Overall this movie wasn't good! 8MM (1998) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason:  Nicolas Cage is at it again with another depressing role.  The movie is very dark and not recommended for younger aged people.  Very grotesque in some parts of the movie so be prepared for that when or if you see it. 8 Mile (2002) Rating Given:  2.75 Reason:  Eminem does a half decent job in his acting debut.  I was actually quite impressed with the movie.  Overall, I thought it was a fun film but nothing too spectacular. About A Boy (2002) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  This role is completely different for Hugh Grant and it is very fun to watch.  If you assume this is like any other Grant film beware...this isn't a normal role for him.  This is probably one of the better movies of 2002.  About Schmidt (2002) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  This is a really good film, depressing but very good.  Jack Nicholson does a wonderful job in this movie!  Overall, its cleverly written and well acted.  I would recommend this movie, its definitely a thinker. Adaptation (2002) Rating Given: 2.8 Reason:  This movie is completely unique if you have seen any movie like this let me know.  The thought that went into this screenplay was definitely there.  I was a bit frustrated towards the end of the film but I definitely give it props for being unique and going out on a ledge.  This movie is for fans of Being John Malkovich.    Almost Famous (2000) Rating Given: 2.8 Reason:  I thought this movie was really funny and had some good parts to it.  The problem for me is that there were a lot of slow parts to the movie and that is why it got a lower rating.  American History X (1998) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  Edward Norton stars in this action-drama which is remise of Seven.  The movie is very dark and not really recommended for younger viewers.  The movie is not that great but at the same time, it is all right.  The movie did get a lot of critical acclaim so if you want to put the critics to the test check it out if not do not worry about it you will not be missing much. Analyze This (1998) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason: Billy Crystal and Robert DeNiro star in this action/comedy filled movie.  It's another one of those movies where you don't expect DeNiro's role like Meet The Parents.   Pretty funny didn't do anything fabulous, a good movie to see once.  Angela's Ashes (1999) Rating Given: 2.8 Reason:  This is a pretty depressing movie based upon a book.  Overall, the acting is very good but that's about it.  Antowne Fisher (2002) Rating Given: 4.05 Reason:  This was a great movie!  I would have to say this movie is reminiscent of Remember the Titans but I would say it is a little better.  I would recommend this movie to anyone! The Astronaut's Wife (1999) Rating Given: 1.6 Reason:  A remake of Rosemary's Baby with a twist that really wasn't good.  Johnny Depp couldn't ever save this movie if he tried.  The Beach (2000) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  This movie has nothing spectacular in it that you have not already seen.  Its your basic 'normal' movie...your on your own on viewing this one.  I didn't find it exciting.  Beautiful Mind (2001) Rating Given: 4.1 Reason:  This movie is amazing!  I would have to say this is one of the best movies I have ever seen!  The movie is all that and a bag of chips that is for sure!  If you have not already seen it&ldots;do it, you will not believe the ending!  Ben-Hur (1959) Rating Given: 4.05 Reason:  Even though this is a long movie I loved it.  I would recommend this movie to anyone out there.  What a wonderful film! Big Fish (2003) Rating Given: 3.95 Reason:  Unlike other Tim Burton movie's this one is a lot less dark and very interesting.  I found this movie very enjoying and worth seeing.  I would recommend this movie to anyone who has not seen it. Blow (2001) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  This movie was really depressing and I didn't like it at all.  This is not a good film...there is some good cinematography at times but thats about it Charlie...  The Bodyguard (1992) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason:  Poor Kevin Costner he's had a rough career and I can truly see why.  This is one his movies that actually received good reviews.  I decided to watch it to give him another chance.  I do like a few of his movies but this isn't one of them.  I thought the movie was a bit far fetched but thats what movies are for, right?   Bowling For Columbine (2002) Rating Given: 3.4 Reason:  Documentary film that really got its point across.  I would definitely recommend this movie! Bridget Jones Diary (2001) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason: I really didn’t know what to expect in this movie.  I know it’s a girl type aka “chic flick” but I thought I’d give it a try since Notting Hill really blew me away with laughter.  Unfortunately, this movie was no good&ldots;if you think the chic in the movie is hot hold your temptations till it comes on video. Casablanca (1942) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  This is stated as one of the greatest films of all time and I would highly disagree.  I did not like this movie at all!  Cast Away (2000) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason: Tom Hanks lights it up with his hot acting skills.  I would say the movie would not have done as well as it did if it did not have Tom.  I would say this movie is a great movie to rent!  Captain Corelli’s Mandolin (2001) Rating Given: .5 Reason:  Being a Nicholas Cage fan I thought I’d check into this movie&ldots;and boy I shouldn’t have.  The movie is very dry and seems to mix a drama with an action movie and it doesn’t work.  The ending is unrealistic and ends up being another one of those movies that wastes my time. Catch Me If You Can (2002) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  Tom Hanks and Leonardo Decaprio star in a Spielberg film that is really fun to watch.  The action keeps the movie interesting all the way through.  If you haven't seen this movie go check it out, you will enjoy it! Changing Lanes (2002) Rating Given: 2.10 Reason: Ben Affleck and Samuel L Jackson go head to head in this drama movie that really gives an interesting story.  I really found the movie unique with its story line but I wasn't too overly impressed with the rest of the movie.  I think the movie is about average...it just needed something else to make it better.  I can't put my finger on it but I do know that it could be better.  Chariots Of Fire (1981) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  A man that runs for the Lord!  I loved the story this movie portrayed and loved everything about it.  I would recommend this movie to anyone! The City Of The Lost Children (1995) Rating Given:  1.6 Reason:  This is a foreign film that is whacked out.  I would have to say this movie really wasn't that great...but at the same time it had originality.  All in all, I really thought it was original BUT not my thing! Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind (2002) Rating Given: 2.40 Reason:  George Clooney has been at it at directing this time in this film and unfortunately there really wasn't much to this movie that I liked.  It has some big named actors, for example Julia Roberts and Drew Berrymore, in it but it still didn't really come out as a great movie.  I wouldn't say Clooney has mastered the directing thing yet. Coyote Ugly (2000) Rating Given: 1.8 Reason:  This movie is not what you expect at all.  If you are thinking this movie is a “guy” movie you are wrong!  This movie is a total chick flick&ldots;so if you dig chick flicks see this one.  Impress your girl sometime and bring this movie&ldots;who knows what the results will be. The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course (2002) Rating Given: 2 Reason:  This is a great family movie, plain and simple.  It's kinda like his TV show and its got a better plot than you think it would.  I would recommend to take the family out, watch this, and have a good time. Cruel Intentions (1999) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  I thought this movie was really good and really entertaining.  The ending was a bit rough but it showed what you would give up for love.  Dances With Wolves (1990) Rating Given: 3.8 Reason:  I really liked this movie.  It was a good story and it had great direction.  I liked this movie from start to finish.  The only thing that kept it from being a classic is that was a bit too long.   Dave (1993) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason: Feel good type of movie...its entertaining and worth seeing if you haven't.  Its not awesome but worth seeing if you are bored. :o) Deuces Wild (2002) Rating Given: 1.15 Reason:  This movie is like West Side Story with out the music.  The movie wasn't too great either but there are a few lessons to learn in the movie.  I wouldn't recommend it and thats enough said.  Don Juan de Marco (1995) Rating Given: 2.6 Reason: Another interesting role for Johnny Depp that finds me uninterested.  The movie is about romance in a dumb way. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb (1964) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  I really didn't like this movie.  There were a few funny parts but I really didn't like it.  That's all I can say about this movie. Drumline (2002) Rating Given: 2.85 Reason:  Surprisingly this movie wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.  It does have some of that teeny bopper junk but overall its really not that bad. Enough (2002) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  To explain this movie in a brief sentence it would be...this movie is made for women.  This movie is way too far fetched and very unrealistic.  The movie started off pretty good but ended horrible...very predictable from the beginning.  Erin Brockovich (2000) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason:  Julia Roberts stars in a movie that's based on a true life story.  The movie wasn't too bad and I liked the way the script was written.  Overall, I was surprisingly impressed with the film. The Family Man (2000) Rating Given: 3.25 Reason:  Many words fill my head when trying to describe this movie.  The movie resembles its A Wonderful Life and The Story Of Us.  The story line is very powerful and the acting was also very good.  I would definitely recommend this movie for viewing.  I know this movie had me thinking about my own personal life because it seemed so close to home.  If any of you are asking if you should see it or not&ldots;see it!  I thought it was worth it! Finding Forrester (2000) Rating Given: 3.8 Reason: To tell you the truth I knew nothing of this movie before I entered the theatres and boy was I happy with the result.  I would definitely recommend this movie if you haven’t already seen it, do, and you’ll thank me later.  Overall, I’d say it’s one to check out. The Good Girl (2002) Rating Given: 1.6 Reason:  This movie was depressing and really wasn't that great to watch.  I felt dirty after watching this one. The Great Escape (1963) Rating Given: 2.9 Reason:  Steve McQueen plays a prisoner in this military based film.  A classic in its own time but doesn't meet to my likes.  Its a good movie but not to my interest. The Grifters (1990) Rating Given: 1.0 Reason:  This movie is whacked out and is really bad.  I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. High Crimes (2002) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason:  Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd star in this action movie that has a screwed up plot.  Judd lights it up with her acting ablities but infortunately I found the movie disappointing.  The plot is well written til about 2/3's of the way through the movie then all of a sudden it goes on a sudden spiral down the tubes.   Holes (2003) Rating Given:  3.15 Reason:  Really great film for a family to check out.  At the beginning I was a bit worried about them getting the whole story together but it did and pulled out to be a good film.  There were a few things I don't agree with in the movie spiritually but other than that I thought it was a pretty good film. The Hurricane (1999) Rating Given: 4.25 Reason: I had heard from many people that this movie was “Good” I thought to myself everyone says that about every movie.  After a long break from civilian world and movie watching I thought why not give it a try.  To my surprise, this movie rocked!  Put it like this, this movie is one of my all time favs if that helps any&ldots;I definitely recommend this one! I Am Sam (2002) Rating Given: 3.25 Reason:  Wonderful acting by Sean Penn and Michelle Pfeiffer makes this movie so good.  I thought the story was sad and hard to imagine what it would have been like.  At times the movie doesn't follow great character build with Penn's character due to his intelligence.  The movie is very predictable but if you look at the acting by Penn you will be amazed.  The In-Laws (2003) Rating Given: 0.9 Reason:  This movie flat out sucked! In The Bedroom (2001) Rating Given: 2.45 Reason:  DEPRESSING!! DEPRESSING!!! AND DEPRESSING!!  This movie had incredible acting in the film and really was an interesting situation and made you think what you would do in that situation.  This movie was critically honored and reviewed but man it was way too depressing.  The Insider (1999) Rating Given: 3 Reason:  Russell Crowe and Al Pacino star in this real life drama.  This movie reminded me of Traffic meets Beautiful Mind.  A well-crafted movie I must say and the critics said so as well.  The movie had seven Academy Award nominations and that there tells you that this movie is pretty good.  I would recommend this movie to see but be advised it has a slow start which is why the rating is lower.   Intolerable Cruelty (2003) Rating Given: 3.4 Reason:  Entertaining is a good word for this film.  George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones both did a really good job with this film and kept it exciting all the way to the end. John Q (2002) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  Denzel Washington stars in this movie about the war on health insurance.  The movie overall is not that bad but there is some concepts in the movie that are a bit extreme.  Once again the movie isn't that bad but a bit unrealistic hence the mediocre rating. K-Pax (2001) Rating Given: 2 Reason:  This movie is very odd and very dumb.  The movie really goes no where but I feel that Kevin Spacey did a wonderful job with what he had for a script.  This is a movie that if you see it once you don't ever need to see it again.   Keeping the Faith (2000) Rating Given: .75 Reason:  This movie is a chick movie and that is about it.  I would have to say that it is not a good movie at all.  The script is really bad and nothing special happens so therefore it’s blah. The Last Of The Mohicans (1992) Rating Given: 3 Reason:  I would have to classify this as one of those movies that gives you that fuzzy feeling at the end of the movie.  I really didn't get too involved in the story line of this movie and that is why the lower rating.  The movie is good and  I would recommend it but it's not my cup of tea. Legally Blonde (2001) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason: Yea, I know what you are thinking what are you doing rating a chick movie.  Well many people told me this movie was actually kinda funny.  Well I gave it a shot and it really wasn't, nuff said. Legends Of The Fall (1994) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  A classic movie with twists and turns.  A real interesting movie...definitely a movie that will raise your eyebrows to say the least. Life (1999) Rating Given: 2.50 Reason:  Martin Laurence and Eddie Murphy star in this comedy that really goes no where.  There is some funny scenes but I wasn't too impressed.    Lost In Translation (2003) Rating Given: 2.45 Reason:  Completely different movie for Bill Murray but has its laughs.  Overall, an "Ok" movie but nothing as special as I thought it was going to be. Made (2001) Rating Given: .5 Reason:  I will tell you one thing about this movie one of the characters will drive you insane and it will get so bad that you will dislike the movie.  The movie only gets worse as time goes by and you will see that.  I was more irritated than anything and you too will discover that to IF watch it. Malcolm X (1992) Rating Given: 2.95 Reason:  Denzel is the man...that's all I need to say.  He's an amazing actor. Misery (1990) Rating Given: 2.2 Reason:  Based upon one of Stephen King's books gives you a good idea what this movie is all about.  This movie is also about having a crazy stalker.  The action was great but that's about it.  The Majestic (2001) Rating Given: 3 Reason:  Jim Carrey stars in a movie where he actually is serious believe it or not and it is not too bad at it.  From the creators of “The Green Mile” and “Shawshank Redemption” comes this story about a movie director who gets in a car accident and finds himself in a new world Moonlight Mile (2002) Rating Given: 2.55 Reason: Very odd situation with a very different twist.  Realistic?!? I would probably say no chance but hey its the movies. O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  This movie was just "Ok" nothing to great about it really.  It's an average movie.  One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) Rating Given: 3.4 Reason:  Jack Nicholson did an amazing job in this movie and definitely deserved the academy.  The movie does a great job with the story line and everything.  I really liked this movie but it wasn't one of my favorites. One Hour Photo (2002) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  Robin Williams stars as another psycho in this movie and pulls off a wonderful performance.  I would have to say I would give this movie a better rating if it had a conclusive ending.  This movie is hard to determine what it is all about and I guess that would be the only downfall. Outbreak (1995) Rating Given: 3.75 Reason:  This movie is all too real and all too freaky now and days.  With the rise of the West Nile Virus and Anthrax it really seems all too real.  Once again this is one of those predictable movies but its very entertaining with a ton of wonderful actors in it.  I would highly recommend watching this flick.  The Passion Of The Christ (2004) Rating Given: 3.75 Reason:  The closest you can get to the good book...Gibson did a wonderful job directing.  Would have been interesting to see more of Jesus's miracles but Gibson stuck with his plan.  Definitely powerful and worth seeing.  A movie to add to the collection to be reminded of Christ's sacrifice for all of us. Pay It Forward (2000) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  Kevin Spacy and Helen Hunt star in this drama movie about a boy who wants to “pay it forward”.  I would say that this movie is great for a family environment and for a date.  The story is moving and makes you reflect on your own life.  I would recommend this to those who haven’t seen it already.  It is not a fabulous movie but it is “Ok” and worth a glance. Pi (1997)  Rating Given: .5 Reason:  This movie is like Beautiful Mind without the nice ending.  The movie is very dark and depressing.  I wouldn't ever recommend it but the cinematography in the movie is good. The Pianist (2002) Rating Given:  3.6 Reason:  I would recommend this movie...plain and simple.  Check this one out! The Player (1992) Rating Given:  1.5 Reason:  Tim Robbins stars in this movie as well as a bunch of other star cameos.  Unfortunately, this movie isn't that great.  I thought it might be a great film to see but it wasn't.  Don't fall into the hype on this one! Proof Of Life (2000) Rating Given: 2.1 Reason:  Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe star in this drama/action movie.  The movie overall isn't that bad but it's not a great movie really.  Nothing really special about it.  I would call this an average "Ok" movie.  Punch Drunk Love (2002) Rating Given: 2.55 Reason:  Let's say that this was a breakout for Mr. Sandler.  This movie is nowhere where he used to be as an actor.  This brought him to a new world.  The ending made no sense for me but maybe thats the way it was supposed to be.  This movie was pretty good and I'd recommend checking it out to see how Adam did.     Radio (2003) Rating Given: 3.3 Reason:  Decent movie with a good feel to it.  I liked it for the most part. Remember The Titans (2000) Rating Given: 4.0 Reason:  Great family enjoyment and very exciting movie!  Recommended for all ages a must see! The Ring (2002) Rating Given: 3.1 Reason:  This movie has a bunch of no name actors and gets the job done just like My Big Fat Greek Wedding did.  The movie was scary but not gory scary.  If you like scary movies this movie will be down your alley.  I'm not a big scary movie fan but I will give the movie props for getting the job done.  The plot is also weak on this movie from the beginning but it gets better towards the end, trust me. A River Runs Through It (1992) Rating Given: 3.9 Reason:  A Robert Redford film starring Brad Pitt is just flat out excellent movie.  Its good for the family and a good lesson to learn about life.  It truly touched me and compelled me to help those with alcohol problems.  I would recommend watching this movie, if not buy it!  Road To Perdition (2002) Rating Given: 2.7 Reason:  Tom Hanks stars as a gangster of the mid 1950s and the movie ends up being a big disappointment.  After hearing the reviews on this movie I thought I'd give it a shot.  This movie started off pretty good but as the movie progressed the movie got worse and worse.  It's no where near the best movie Hanks has done BUT it is a "Ok" movie.  Just don't expect this movie to be incredibly awesome.  The Rookie (2002) Rating Given: 2.85 Reason:  Its unfortunate that this movie had a bad beginning and ending...it really made me upset.  If you take out the beginning and ending you have a good movie but things don't work out that way.  A good family movie to see! Rosemary's Baby (1968) Rating Given: 1.0 Reason:  This is an older movie that really does not appeal to me at all.  This movie really had a dumb ending and it was very long.  I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone.  The Royal Taudenbaum’s (2001) Rating Given: .5 Reason:  This movie is absolutely horrible&ldots;I would have to say it was a big waste of money.  Do not watch this&ldots;believe me just don’t watch it!!! Scent of A Woman (1992) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason: Al Pacino does an incredible job in his role as a retired military officer.  Pacino carries the movie all the way and ends the movie with a powerful message.  This is a great movie to see with family and friends. Seabiscuit (2003) Rating Given: 3.6 Reason:  I found this movie enjoyable and worth seeing.  Check it out. Secondhand Lions (2003) Rating Given: 3.8 Reason: Funny and a great feel good type of movie.  This is a movie to check out! Sexy Beast (2001) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: Started off looking like this could be a great film and it just went downhill from the start.  Its a mobster type of film and really really not cool.  I wouldn't recommend it! Simon Birch (1998) Rating Given: 3.80 Reason:  Another sad movie dealing a young boys life and his strong faith.  I found this movie extremely inspiring about a how strong a child's faith is.  I too hope that the movie does the same with you.  I would recommend this movie to watch with your family.  Simple Men (1992) Rating Given: .25 Reason:  Epitome of horrible of horribles.  This movie had no plot, no acting, no script, no cinematography, nothing!  Don't ever watch and don't ever waste your time like I did with this movie. Sleepers (1996) Rating Given: 2.6 Reason: This movie is full of big time actors and is an ok film to watch.  Once again it isn't one of the greatest films out there but it is a pretty good film.   Solaris (2002) Rating Given: 1.2 Reason:  Save yourself money and time don't watch this movie!  George Clooney stars in this stupid movie where it leaves you with a bad ending and lots of questions.  If you ever consider watching this movie WAIT, you will thank me later.  The only good part to this movie is that it made you think.  Something's Gotta Give (2003) Rating Given: 2.2 Reason:  Too many naked old people; a few laughs but nothing else great. Spring Forward (2000) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  This movie is the story of a young man trying to get his life in line.  I thought it was pretty good but nothing too spectacular. Stand By Me (1986) Rating Given: 3.5 Reason:  This movie was great!  I thought the language was a bit surprising but overall I liked it. The Story Of Seabiscuit (1949) Rating Given: 1.1 Reason:  This movie is one of my votes for one of the worst movies of 1949. The Story of Us (1999) Rating Given: 3.75 Reason: This pulls a good depiction on what I would call the “average” family.  Unlike American Beauty, this movie hits a more realistic note with a better ending.  Overall, I would say this movie surprised me and I would recommend checking it out. Trainspotting (1995) Rating Given:  2.10 Reason:  Everyone told me that this movie was like Requiem For A Dream and it's not.  Lets face it this movie is not a Requiem For A Dream type of movie...I really didn't care for it at all. Traffic (2000) Rating Given: 2.25 Reason:  This movie relates to the trafficking of drugs from Mexico to the United States.  The movie is full of big time actors which usually lead to a good script which leads to a good movie.  I know a lot of people will like this movie because it is so realistic but to me it seemed the movie was “Ok”. Vanilla Sky (2001) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz star in this action packed thriller.  The movie was very hard to follow and may take a few times to really understand what is going.  I thought the script was well written and that the acting was good as well.  The only problem with it for me is it did not really push the envelope and to me that is what it takes to reach the top.  The movie overall is “OK” so do not expect it to amaze you. What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) Rating Given: 3.0 Reason:  Leonardo DiCaprio did an awesome acting job in this movie.  The movie has a good feel about it but not one of my favorites. What Women Want (2000) Rating Given: 2.9 Reason:  Mel Gibson stars as in this romantic comedy with Helen Hunt.  A funny movie not the greatest but a really fun movie.  Good to see on a date. William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet (1996) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  I would have to say this movie was revolutionary with using Shakespeare's language and putting a modern spin on it within a movie.  I wasn't too thrilled with the movie as a whole but I liked the concept and thoughts that went into the movie.  Therefore, I gave it some props for being unique. Wonder Boys (2000) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason:  Michael Douglas stars in this drama movie about a writer.  The movie has some laughs but overall is pretty bland.  It's not fabulous nor is it horrible.  Horror Blair Witch Project (1999) Rating Given: 2.8 Reason:  Unique and definitely pulled off what it had intended.  I enjoyed it to the point...I'm not a big horror/thriller fan.  If you like those type of movies you will like this one.  Musical Moulon Rouge (2001) Rating Given: 1.15 Reason:  I really found this movie hard to follow the first 1/2 hour due to the camera movement.  I found the story very predictable and very annoying.  From beginning to end I found it hard for me to continue watching the movie.  I wouldn't recommend it unless you like musicals.  Romance How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days (2003) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  I would have to say this movie really was a disappointment.  I saw the previews and thought this was gonna be an alright movie but I was wrong.  The movie started losing its requirements towards the end as started adding 'high school love' junk in it.  This is a total chick movie but its a horrible one at that. Pretty Woman (1990) Rating Given: 1.9 Reason: A classic woman movie&ldots;totally chic flick.  I thought it was fun though, just not my type of movie.  This is a good date movie for all you boys out there&ldots;keep that in mind.  :o) Runaway Bride (1999) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason: Richard Gere and Julia Roberts are back at it again.  This time is much worse than all their other efforts together.  I felt this movie got really old and predictable.  All in all this movie isn't that great and I wouldn't recommend it.  Sweet Home Alabama (2002) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  Starring Resse Witherspoon in this romance filled movie.  The movie wasn't spectacular but it would work for a 'date movie' if you dare. :o) A Walk To Remember (2002) Rating Given: 1.50 Reason:  I watched this movie because I heard Switchfoot (one of my favorite bands) was the leading band on this soundtrack.  To my surprise the rumors were true, anyway as far as the movie went it wasn't the greatest and it was very predictable.  I thought the movie could have been done a bit better...end of story. Y Tu Mama Tambien (2002) Rating Given: 1.5 Reason:  I felt so violated after watching this movie.  Believe me this movie is not what you think or heard about.  This movie was about SEX and thats about it.  Don't watch this crap!   Sci-Fi/Fantasy Army Of Darkness (1993) Rating Given: 2.75 Reason:  A funny movie that classifies as a "cult classic".  I wouldn't say the movie is all that great but it does have a lot of laughs. Beetlejuice (1988) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason:  Michael Keaton stars as Beetlejuice in this fun family movie.  The movie doesn't go to deep or anything.  It is just a fun movie to watch around home if you have nothing else to do.  Blade II: Bloodhunt (2002) Rating Given: 1.75 Reason:  Wesley Snipes is the leading man once again in this Horror/Thriller movie.  The movie has some neat effects and cool fighting scenes but that is it.  The movie is so-so due to the movie's action sequences. Blade Runner (1982) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  In Harrison Ford's early years he did a lot of Sci-Fi and that's exactly what this movie is.  Classified a "cult classic" by ET Weekly 2003, really didn't click with me too well.  I thought some things were good but overall I couldn't get into this movie.   Close Encounters Of The Third Kind (1977) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  The special effects in this movie at this time were amazing.  The movie overall wasn't spectacular but the special effects were awesome for this time period. Evolution (2001) Rating Given: 1.25 Reason: This movie was very funny at times but brought back memories of what we all saw years ago in Men In Black.  I would say that the movie is pretty fun but nothing other than that.  From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) Rating Given: 1.2 Reason:  This movie was horrible.  I've seen bad movies and this one was on its way to becoming one of the worse I've seen.  Lucky for the fact that their were some action scenes that were alright.  Otherwise this movie would be with one of the worst.  The Hulk (2003) Rating Given: 2.6 Reason:  All I can say about this movie is that this is not an X-Men movie.  I would say it was entertaining but not worth the money to see it. The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) Rating Given: 1.0 Reason:  One of my votes for one of the worst movies of 2003.  This definitely is poopy. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship (2001) Rating Given: 2.0 Reason:  Special effects keep this movie highly interesting.  I have not read any of the books so I could not appreciate it as much as someone who has.  The movie did seem a bit too long and that is all I can really say about it.  It really was not something totally amazing but the special effects are incredible! The Lord Of The Rings: Two Towers (2002) Rating Given: 2.2 Reason: I'd decided after watching both of these films I'm not a fan of fantasy and Lord of the Rings.  I really don't connect with this type of movie.  Granted there are some good action scenes but it didn't satisfy my taste.  I didn't like this movie but I will give it an "Ok" rating for its action and visual effects.   The Lord Of The Rings : The Return Of The King (2003) Rating Given: 1.9 Reason:  Corny in its own right.  This type of movie will never be my cup of tea...in my opinion the second is the best of em all. The Matrix Reloaded (2003) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  To me it felt as though this movie was showing off a bit too much.  The movie focused too much on special effects, which were great don't get me wrong, but forgot about the script.  The movie added a bunch of crap that wasn't necessary and left me disappointed.  The first Matrix was so much better overall. Men In Black (1997) Rating Given: 2 Reason:  Thought I would view this movie again before the second one.  The movie was alright, not the greatest, but it will do the job.  Recommended if you want to watch something for fun.   Minority Report (2002) Rating Given: 3.8 Reason:  Steven Speilberg and Tom Cruise get together for the first time and make a sci-fi movie.  I would have to say this movie is near perfect.  There is a couple of flaws in the script at the very end.  Overall a good movie but not on the top ten of my list. Spiderman (2002) Rating Given: 2.85 Reason:  The big box office hit movie in my personal opinion didn't give me the warm fuzzy feeling inside after a good movie does.  It is pretty decent but not one of the greatest films in the world.  The Terminator (2002) Rating Given: 2.7 Reason:  A classic movie of the 1980’s which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger in this action packed movie.  I really did not see anything that was totally revolutionary in it but it is a defining action movie that has changed the rules.  This movie is fun to watch with the buddies at home and to watch all alone.  I would recommend this movie for any special event because everyone and there mother has probably already seen and loved it. Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991) Rating Given: 3.15 Reason:  Usually sequels are way worse than the first but not with this movie.  The movie is a bit old but it was incredible action movie at its time.  Highly recommended to watch at home or when you're bored.  It's not one of my favorites but it's fun and enjoyable. Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003) Rating Given: 2.5 Reason:  This is by far the worst Terminator movie made and probably should be the last one they make.  I think you get the clue on what I thought of this movie.  Total Recall (1990) Rating Given: 1.50 Reason:  Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this action movie that I really found not that exciting.  It got really old after a while and I was disappointed with it.  If you really like Arnold's movies check this out because this is one of his better ones but other than that don't watch. Tremors (1989) Rating Given:  2.5 Reason:  This movie is so corny its funny.  I couldn't tell the difference between jokes and seriousness in it!  If you want to see a classic b-movie check this one out.  The storyline is so funny because it was meant to be serious and it is flat out dumb.  Check it out for a laugh if you are bored.  X-Men (2000) Rating Given:  2.85 Reason:  With the rise in action movies based on comic books I thought I'd check out this movie.  Hugh Jackman did an excellent job playing Wolverine! I think the movie was pretty decend and did well with the storyline in the comics.  There will definitely be another one out soon and I'm sure it will be even better! X2: X-Men United (2003) Rating Given: 3.20 Reason:  This is definitely better than the first X-Men.  The first scene in this movie will blow you away.  I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoyed the first X-Men.  War/Military An Office And A Gentleman (1982) Rating Given: 2.20 Reason:  I heard some raves about this movie but I didn't see anything too thrilling in this movie.  I wouldn't say its one of those movies to see. Apocalypse Now (1979) Rating Given: 2.6 Reason:  This is a very long movie...and it has a very odd ending.  I thought overall the movie content was decent but too lengthy; could have been done at least 45 minutes earlier. Behind Enemy Lines (2001) Rating Given: 2.4 Reason:  There are some scenes in this movie that really make this movie worth watching.  I really thought some of the cinematography was great but the ending was so unrealistic it made the movie impossible.  Black Hawk Down (2001) Rating Given: 3.25 Reason:  Another war movie that I had to see.  It's sad to see that this is real life...not one of the greatest movies out there but a good one to see.  The acting isn't the greatest but everything else is pretty sweet.  Crimson Tide (1995) Rating Given: 2.9 Reason:  I thought Denzel did a great job in this movie as did Hackman.  The movie kept you into it and I liked that about this movie.  It had a story to tell and got there.  The movie wasn't too spectacular but it was good. Enemy At The Gates (2001) Rating Given: 2.8 Reason: Well this is the first movie I’ve seen on my return to civilian life.  Funny thing is that this movie was about war&ldots;what a different meaning it is now that I’ve been through training.  Anyway, about the movie, which was based on true story, I felt was all right but nothing truly special.  The ending of the movie doesn’t really fit and I’m pretty sure that’s not how it really ended.  Also, the title of the flick doesn’t fit either with the movie&ldots;in my opinion this movie was just “OK”. Full Metal Jacket (1987) Rating Given: 1.9 Reason: Well this movie was too close to home.  I couldn’t believe how realistic this movie was as far as the basic training part.  Most of the movie brought back bad memories and some good memories.  All and all I thought the movie was “OK” but not worth paying money for. Glory (1989) Rating Given: 4.1 Reason: This movie is what I would call an oldie but a goody!  If most of you have never heard of this movie before I will tell you who is in it just to name a few Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington.  Does that have you interested?  It should because this movie that ranks up to the Saving Private Ryan ranks.  The movie was made in 1989, which seems ancient but the movie is nowhere near the clichés that an “old” movie usually has.  Overall, I would recommend this great war movie, and a must to have in your video collection. The Hunt For The Red October (1990) Rating Given: 3.6 Reason: This movie was very much like Crimson Tide but much much better.  If you like submarine movies I would recommend this one! Men of Honor (2000) Rating Given: 2 Reason: A wonderful movie based on a true story.  Cuba Gooding Jr. and Robert DeNiro star in this water filled movie.  Gooding Jr. did a wonderful job in his role but other than that, the movie didn’t have any “exciting” moments (hint: to all you action filled seekers).  I would say it’s not a bad movie but it’s also not a good movie. The Patriot (2000) Rating Given: 2.85 Reason: Highly anticipated movie that really didn’t impress me as I was hoping.  I found it “OK” but nothing close to the likes of Braveheart.  Overall, I find it an “OK” movie but nothing more than that. Pearl Harbor (2001) Rating Given: 2 Reason: I was surprised with Ben Affleck’s acting in this movie really.  I think this movie wasn’t as good as it was brought out to be&ldots;overall I thought the movie was “OK”. Platoon (1986) Rating Given: 2.3 Reason:  This movie was about Vietnam and the effects it had on some soldiers lives.  I would have to give it some props for giving credit to the soldiers and showing it from their view point BUT it's not everything people say it is.  This movie isn't "one of the greatest" war movies but it is definitely interesting. Soldier (1998)  Rating Given: 1 Reason:  Kurt Russell stars in this action movie that really had a weak script.  The script basically floated on, "lets make an action movie," and that is what they did.  The movie didn't spend much time with the characters and really focused on action so you really couldn't ever relate to the character.  Recommendation don't watch. We Were Soliders (2002) Rating Given: 4.25 Reason:  This movie really touched me...guess it's harder to see war movies now that I'm in the military.  A much better film than Patriot...much along the lines of Braveheart but a different type of film.  A pretty good movie, I really appreciated it! Windtalkers (2002) Rating Given: 2.1 Reason:  I waited for a while to watch this movie and I'm glad I did.  This movie didn't have anything going for it.  Last Updated March 6th, 2005.
