A brass mendak or ferrule completes fittings.

Pamor patterns are rare and are forged in the miring technique showing three different pamor arrangements. At the base a peak like formation is seen and is called pamor ujung gunung, with a single vertical pamor line along the middle of the blade called pamor sada saler. Along the circumference of the blade a contrasting pamor lines called wengkon. With three different pamor patterns it is also called tri-warna or tri-colored.

The pamor ujung gunung is said to enhance the owner’s status, while the pamor sada saler is said to provide guidance for the owner, and the pamor wengkon is of the protective nature.
