it's hard to say that i'm friendly without sounding clichè. but i really am friendly. and more often than not, i'm happy and talkative and very easily entertained. on the flipside, however, i do get irritable very easily. but once i rant and rave, i'm completely fine afterwards. i'm very trusting as well as forgiving. and never one to hold a grudge.
i'm definitely what people consider as girlie-girl. i love my fashion. i love my skincare and makeup. i love things that are colorful just as much as i love things that are sparkly. but no matter how i love to get dressed up, i'm really a home-girl at heart and would rather curl up on my bed in a t-shirt and boxers and watch tv. especially if one of my korean dramas is on.
i don't have a lot of talents. a lot of people will be quick to argue that. there's reasons why i feel that i'm not so talented as they think. i have a lot of interests, such as webdesign and photography. and i love writing, but only when i feel i'm at my best. i wouldn't consider myself proficient in any of them, mostly preferring to dabble in them than concentrate on a particular one.
i graduated from college with a bachelor's in japanese studies. however, much to the dismay of many, i don't plan to use it since i can barely converse in nihongo, nonetheless understand anything that's being said. i also like to say that i can speak korean, but there's a huge difference between being able to SPEAK and being able to SAY THINGS.
i would love to travel one day. most prominent on my list is japan, korea and italy. i'm eager to experience the rich culture of another country. the sights. the food. but not too eager, as at the wonderful age of twenty-six, i haven't stepped foot out of the country yet.
most of all, i'm christian. i'm definitely not the christian that i could be or that i should be. but that doesn't negate the deep faith that i have in my lord and savior. it's wonderful to know that there is someone constantly by my side. caring for me. guiding me. forgiving me. and most of all, loving me.
