streetcar showoff: day 02
08.26.2003

on saturday afternoon we went to ala moana for some quick shopping. we only had a couple of hours to shop, so i wasn't able to visit a|x, guess, gap, or bcbg max azria. i spent most of my time at sephora and bebe. i bought a shu uemura eyelash curler from sephora. mine was getting old. and i bought one for iris too. i also bought a shu uemura eyebrow brush and fresh soy body cream. there was a cute black camisole at bebe, but i decided against buying it. and i went to hot topic to buy some thigh-high fishnets for the night's outfit.

brian and i also went to shirokiya. he went straight for the electronic department. i just browsed around. this is for winnie and linda. how i could i not have thought of them when i came across these??

kokeshi dolls for winnie.

maneki neko for linda.

our outfit for the night were black fuckenfast tanktops, super-short red schoolgirl plaid skirts, and thigh-high fishnets. underneath the skirts we were supposed to wear black speedhawaii hot shorts that cut high to show cheek. we wore regular black panties underneath them. i was a little uncomfortable at first, walking into the car show. especially since sandy and i had driven down before the other girls and i was the only one there dressed like that. it wouldn't have been so bad if the rest of the girls were there with me.

after awhile, i got used to the outfit. i mean it was a really cute outfit, even thought the skirt was a little higher than i would've liked. and at least we weren't wearing just the hot shorts alone like some of the other import models. *cough* bütigroove *cough*

after the car show, we went to eat at taiyo ramen. i couldn't help but think of jon. i ordered the spicy seafood ramen. it came with a couple of clams and lots of shrimp and squid. other things on the menu were kimchi fried rice, chicken katsu curry rice, and mabo tofu.

after we ate, we met ashley and her friends at the waterfront café in the aloha tower marketplace. there was a lot of drinking going on since it was our last night in o'ahu. i tried a sip of crack's moscato d'asti. i'm really not a champagne or wine drinker. there's that aftertaste that i just don't care for. but he said it was really sweet and fruity, and it really was. at waterfront i took a few sips off of risse's stp. it's really good. i really like my drinks on the fruity side, so i usually order an alien secretion or a lava flow. i may have to add stp to my drinks list.

if you like to mix your own drinks, here's the recipes to my favorites:

alien secretion

¼oz absolut vodka
¼oz midori melon liquer
¼oz malibu coconut rum
¼oz pineapple juice

add ingredients together in small shaker with ice. stir. strain into a shot glass.

lava flow

1.0oz bacardi light rum
1.0oz malibu coconut rum
2.0oz strawberries
1 banana
2.0oz pineapple juice
2.0oz coconut cream

blend banana, coconut cream, and pineapple juice in a blender and set aside. in the bottom of a hurricane glass, stir together both rums and strawberries. pour banana/coconut/pineapple mix slowly into the glass. the strawberry/rum mix should creep up the sides of the glass to make swirls.

stp (sweet tight pussy)

1.0oz midori melon liquer
1.0oz peachtree schnapps
fill with pineapple juice

mix over ice in a collins glass.
