"As much as I have complained and whined about Ghana I think I will miss it a lot. I really can't explain why. All the things I can recall and talk/write about are negative and yet something still attracts me. Maybe I will figure out what that is when I get home and feel its absence"--Wednesday, May 13, 1998

This page is my search for some peace and understanding of my experiences in Ghana. It was one of the hardest experiences I have ever faced and also one of the most rewarding. Trying to find the words to describe it has been most difficult, and anything I come up with just doesn't quiet seem to do the job. So much comes off as negative, complaining, or whining and yet I love the country, its people and its culture. I hope in putting together this page I will finally be able to find the words to describe the experience that truly did shake my foundations.

The symbols on my page (as well as the background) are Ghanaian. To read about them just click on them. It has been a while since I have been to Ghana, but if you have any questions about my experience there Id be happy to try and answer any questions by e-mail.
