previous day's entry May 13, 2002 next day's entry
This day had gone well enough. I wish to find something to do to have some spending cash.

I made the phonecall in the morning to confirm tomorrow's gym attachment. And also to discuss the following dates and times of gym attachment. But each attachment will not take up a lot of time. Just 2 hours each time. That phonecall was rather short but I felt relief that it was finally settled. I also checked my poly forms and the location of the clinic that I wanted to go for the Poly medical checkup. I also typed some e-mail in the morning to some female friends to ask if they still want to be friends. I do not expect much hope. I have a feeling that I will very much be by myself for quite some time.

I also brought the old "armour" out of the box I placed it in. I am referring to my SBO which will be used during reservist. Mum did not let me wash it, she was afraid that I will really dirty the bathroom. The morning passed very quickly and soon it was time for lunch.

After the lunch, a little of not doing anything and a nap. I woke up and prepared to go out for the Poly medical checkup. I did not have too much trouble finding the place. And as expected there were quite a lot of other people who were also taking medical checkup for poly. The clinic I went to only took chest X-rays and nothing else. I had to go to another clinic nearby for the rest of the medical exam. I went there with 2 other people who are also applying for poly. It was just a short walk away.

When we got to the clinic, there were already a lot of people there. Guess what, it was time to take the urine test again. It was really funny to hear the nurse repeat her instructions for the urine test in a loud voice. She said something like " You urinate on this strip". I guess that guy made a rather accurate pee as the nurse accepted the urine test strip in the plastic right away. I had to hang on to it for some time. Then I got too nervous and asked if they had called my name. And the pretty nurses seemed more friendly. And they told me that they did not call my name and to wait. I did not had to wait long as my card was already in the doctor's office.

Before going into the doctor's, there were other tests like testing my eyesight. Recognise characters from a distance and checking for colour blind. Finally it was time to go in and hand in the urine sample. The doctor asked if I had asthma since childhood as indicated, tested my blood pressure and listened to my heart and lungs. And also asked some other questions like did I have any drug allergies. Then it was over and I went home.

I got home and had some food bought by my mum before going to the gym. I got to the gym much later then usual as I went later then usual. I had dinner before I went home. And bought Ribeana on my way home from the local supermarket. Then there isn't much story from the point I reached home. I just did some things I need to do. Then I typed this entry. My attachment begins tomorrow so I will get a good night's rest.
