previous day's entry May 09, 2002 next day's entry
I am feeling a little tired right now. I came home from tuning up my Mini4WDs. I also bought some parts and used them in the race machines. I had lots of help from various people with the parts and settings. Let me go from the top of the story of this day.

I woke up in the morning and I made lots of phonecalls regarding the gym attachment. I made calls in the morning and afternoon. But things did not turn out the way I expected and/or wanted. Then I found SSC's web site and e-mailed them. Before I went out I did what my horoscope suggested. And that is to call up a friend to have a good chat. I did a bit more then what my horoscope suggested- I phoned 2 friends and talked about how I am doing.

Finally I went out to prepare for the Mini4WD race on Sunday. Believe it or not all the things in this paragraph took a lot more time then it took for you to read it.

I got a phonecall from one of SSC's Fitness Department's staff. He told me that it was due to miscommunication that all that stuff happened. It was really hard to hear what he was saying as I was in the MRT. But he gave me a number and who to contact regarding the attachment. But I was not very pleased that he seem to insist that I do the attachment their way. I am not trying to be difficult but I really do not have that much time.

I got help from the uncle who smokes quite a lot. And the kid who wear specs. Before that friend who was really good at Mini4WD racing came, I went on with the tuning, settings and etc. with the former 2 nice people. And they helped me solved some major problems of one of the Mini4WD. Then that friend came and he helped me improve the machine with some major problems even further. Now that machine runs even better then before.

Then there was the machine that helped me won the only trophy I have in my entire life. I wanted to use the really small ball rollers in the front of the machine. But first he solved the problem with the original settings first. Then I bought the ball rollers and he helped me with the settings. I saw, asked and understood how the parts worked. It felt a lot better then the last time I went to this place. I love seeing how well the machine run the obstacles. But the machine came off the track at that same obstacle. Until the problem was solved. But the setting was very, very unusual to me. But it works. Then it was time to go home. But before that, I went for dinner first.

I had dinner and met a friend there. But I do not recognize him at all. But still I talked to him and he was slowly becoming familiar to my mind. The chat was about some really simple things. But it felt good to have someone to talk to. We exchanged phone number. Then after I was done with dinner, it was time to go home.

Mum had bought me a really good and expensive backpack for reservist. It was very unexpected. I had expected a nice, quality backpack but a deuter was the least of my imagination. I got to and will make the best of the next day. I have to get that attachment settled. Now I will watch TV and maintain my race machines.
