Kemi~Waitress and Psychic Reader
Hey! I'm Kemi and I'll be your Prima Wahine for today. I was the first member of the Krew and will probably be the last to leave. Care to find out how I came to be here? Too damn bad, I'm typing it up anyway.
My first tattoo.       Pookie (a             former            nickname) holding a spoon.
I'm Kemi Mariposa DiGiovanni, an Aries and a feisty one at that.  I was born on Easter Sunday, April 6, 1980.  I grew up in indiana and that's all the info on my hideous past you're going to get.  Well...I'll start telling you about when I met Keoki...but you don't get any other incriminating knowledge.  To allow you that much would NOT be healthy for you or for me.
Imagine this on my back and you have one of my tattoos....the count is up to 5 now.
I met Keoki at Woodstock II.  I was following Aerosmith on their tour--always keeping an extra ticket just in case.  So I was sitting in the trunk of my car giving psychic readings for incredibly low prices and evidently I had attracted his attention.  So (as he tells the story) he went to the back of the line that had formed and, much to his dismay, once he hit the head of the line I was closing up shop because my spirit guide, Z, was trying to possess me.  That and Aerosmith was about to go on stage.
Steven doing a sound check for us.
So I'm groovin' to Aerosmith...and  while I was rushing the stage to touch the outstretched fingers of Steven Tyler it happened... I was so rudely grabbed by a Yellow-shirt (security guard).  He felt me up and pushed me away from the stage and I landed in the arms of, you guessed it, Keoki.  I looked up into his eyes, through the mass of firey red hair.  "Aloha" he said.  From that moment on we were inseperable.  We ate together, moshed together, slept together (don't even think it you pervert!  Hell, we waited in port o potty lines together...THAT's love!
My second tattoo.  A celtic band on my ankle.
We were saying our tearful goodbyes at the end of the Woodstock when I decided I couldn't go on without the lug.  So I invited him to take my extra ticket on my exodous following Aerosmith.  And yea, he did.  And it was good.  Since then, he and I have been damn close.  I taught him about witchcraft (oh yeah, did I mention I'm a practicing witch?)  I taught him about the glory that is Kevin Smith film.  And he taught me how to body surf when we were in California.  As the tour wound down, Keoki started telling me about this Pool Hall of his.  One night, as we were again looking to say goodbye, he asked me to join him in his dream now that mine was completed.  How could I say no?? So now my home is in Maui, at the pool hall. Like I said,  I was the first to join the Krew.  For a long time I waited tables. Then I was made management. I still wait tables every now an d then so I can get the tips.  Sometimes I tend bar, sometimes I dance or sing, it all depends.  Whenever Kalikikopa is actually in town...I wait tables and he's my bartender...just like the old days.  Hey, 'Ass' (Kalikikopa) I hope you come back soon.  I do miss you.  And my darling Keoki and Phoenix...I wouldn't be able to find my sandals without you.  Love to my friends.  And MAD MAD love to you all.
