F4 isn't Separated, Will Release Album Together
"F4 isn't separated, even though we are all busy
with our own stuffs, we will release a album together and do promo."
Taiwanese popular group,
F4, F4 member, Vanness Wu left such words for F4. Vanness have started
his promo in
Korea together with
Kangta in which they formed a group. When they were receiving an
interview by Lian He News on the 22nd, Vanness did a reply in regards to
"F4 separated".
Vanness said, "Definately not separated, there
are some changes regarding the selling of the record and plans of the
record company. Now, we are busy with our own stuffs. We will release
our album and i do wish to do promo with them."
Next, he got the question
of whether he was still in touch with the other 3, Vanness said, "It's
not very convenient to keep in contact when I'm in
Korea but we do keep in contact when we're in Taiwan."
F4 is a group formed by Jerry Yan, Ken Zhu,
Vanness Wu and Vic Zhou. Wu Jian Hao is Vanness's Chinese name. With
acting in CTS's meteor garden, they gained lots of fans.
Also, when Vanness was
doing his Dragon Squad promo in
Taiwan in November last year, he said, "Hopefully next
year, F4 would be reunited to do performances and promo for the new
album, i miss the days with F4. The first time we went overseas to meet
our fans, we are often together."

Ken Zhu Came to
Japan it Resembles
Idol dramas are very popular in HK and Japan, Ken Zhu came to Japan it
resembles the red carpet of Tom Cruise, Japanese girls in a frenzy.
Taiwan's idol drama has come to Japan to promote its broadcast, it
wasn't hard for everyone to know about it, Japanese girls have a lot of
enthusiasm, t Among those who have the biggest advantage to this wave of
male artists (Hua Liu) is Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu, Peng Yu Yan who came
to Japan one after the other to conduct their own publicity promotions
and were given enthusiastic welcomes. But at the beginning of June,
Ariel Lin has accepted a propaganda activity in Japan to begin the trail
blaze of female idols in Japan.
Because of F4?s Meteor Garden 1, 2 there is now a big attention on Jerry
Yan he is now said to be the ladies? dream lover, Zai Zai and Da S?
(Mars) had gone to Japan to promote, and have started to become well
known this F2 members have shown their talent. Last Friday, Ken has come
to Japan to promote the drama which is about to be broadcasted in BS
Japan channel ?City of Sky?. This July, Vanness Wu will come to Japan to
hold his solo concert.
F4 member Ken Zhu influence isn't quite enough, but this time when he
arrived in Tokyo, unexpectedly there were about 500 fans who came to
meet him at the airport, some even came from Hokkaido, Kyushu and in
other parts of Japan, and this made Ken overjoyed or pleasantly
surprised, he deliberately slowed his steps to imitate 'Tom Cruise's red
carpet walk' in the direction of his fans he waved while he walked and
these made the Japanese girls shriek. The next day at the Shibuya PARCO
Department Store he held an activity, more than 1,000 Japanese girls
crammed inside the OPEN STUDIO just to see Ken Zhu's elegant demeanor,
thereby increasing the enchantment of F4 in Japan.
When Ken Zhu filmed ?City in the Sky? in Japan he related his
experience, ?The last time I was in Japan to film the drama it was the
rainy season, this time there is a typhoon, but compared to the last
time I was here my frame of mind today is relaxed.? Ken Zhu's principles
are good, even if his schedule is packed he insisted in waking up early
at 6:00 am to bring the staff to enjoy the produce at the fresh seafood
market, for on the spot sushi. As a result of his ?gluttony,? he ate too
much raw food and had diarrhea and almost couldn't catch up with his
flight.

"Judgment in Tokyo" Opens in May
The historical movie
Judgment in
Tokyo has completed is
expected to hit the screens on May 3rd. The movie is centered upon the
trial of top Japanese war criminals at the International Military
tribunal for the Far East nearly 60 years ago. The film boasts an
international cast with much of the lines in English. It also tries to
add a human touch to a serious topic.
A legend in a courtroom 60 years ago;
The birth of a miracle;
A piece of misery, endured
together by
China and Japan?
These are the words of the
trailer for the movie Judgment In Tokyo. The documentary-style film is
China produced and
tells the story of 28 top Japanese war criminals being tried at the
International Military Tribunal for the Far East from 1946 to 1948.
With a reportedly low
budget, director Gao Qunshu nevertheless managed to gather a
star-studded cast for his movie.
Hong Kong veterans Kenneth Tsang and Damian Lau play a
Chinese prosecutor and judge respectively. Mainland comedy star Ying Da
and Taiwan heartthrob Zhu Xiaotian are amongst the leads. The film also
attracted leading US and Japanese actors. 80% of the dialogue is in
English and Japanese, adding to the international flavour of the film.
Damian Lau, known for
depicting upright figures in many
Hong Kong films, says he's honored to be playing the
judge this time.
"I've been an actor for several decades. This is
the first time that I've shot a film on such a heavy theme. And it's the
first time that I've felt it really means a lot to be an actor. I'm
happy that before my retirement, I can shoot a film that reflects a true
part of history which I think the younger generation should know more
about."
Rather than taking a violently condemnatory
approach in revealing the war crimes of the invading Japanese troops,
the film tries to extract individual stories from the historical dossier
and depicting the pain that the war brings to ordinary people, both
Chinese and Japanese.
Taiwan Heartthrob Zhu Xiao Tian, who is also a
member of the pop band F4, plays a journalist in the film. He says the
goal of the film is not to condemn, but to understand.
"I think suffering in history should not become
our burden, but provide hope for us to look forward. Although the theme
of the movie is heavy, we hope to bring the audience something good. We
hope you can enjoy it when you're sitting in the cinema."
Some Chinese media are
calling the film a Chinese mainstream movie with a strong
Hollywood touch.
The Shanghai Film Group
recently acquired the distribution rights and will release the film in
China on May 3rd, the
60th anniversary of the opening of the International Military Tribunal
for Far East.

Tokyo Fans Go Crazy Over Vanness Wu
In order to prevent
accidents, Vanness was forbidden to wave his hand and ask how the fans
are doing? Vanness was at
Tokyo on the 2nd to
promote for his concert. Close to 500 fans went to see him get off the
plan, causing chaos at the airport. Staff has disclosed that Jerry Yan
and Ken Zhu might also become honored guests at the concert.
Vanness will have a solo concert in Japanese
Tokyo international convention center on July 8 and 9. On the 2nd, once
he got off the plane, he was warned by staff to: "Please don't wave your
hands, and don't get too close to the fans." Really nearly 500 fans
squished together and screamed when they saw him - Vanness was also
scared.
Vanness will be in
Japan for three days;
on the 2nd, he's holding a reporter meeting, on the 3rd, he's shooting
for the posters, on the 4th, he is going to fly to Thailand to prepare
to do MTV Asia awards performance. He expressed that this is the first
time he's doing a solo concert, so he's excited and anxious.
Vanness looks at this concert as very important
- originally it was supposed to be a 2 hour performance, but it was
extended to 3 hours. Besides diligently working on the content of the
concert, he also invited Jerry Yan and Ken Zhu to appear.
