Due to HIV/AIDS scourge the population below the poverty line and their socio-economic impact is worst. Widows, orphans and street children are neglected, and therefore become involved in illicit activities (robberies, drug abuse) and early and unwanted pregnancies.
Due to problems above, Achuth Women Group launched the "Francis International Academy" : a school of high quality, attaining best results with allocation of spaces for orphans and also utilizing academy revenue to the onsite shelter and care of the vulnerable children.
