The Louisville and Indiana is an interesting little railroad. Here you will find a collection of older EMD's and now this ex UP slug used in switching duties in the yard located at Jeffersonville Indiana. December 2001.
Something new on the L&I is CSX trackage rights allowing CSX to bypass the congested K&I Bridge. The result is that 3 miles of the ex B&) onced used to reach industries across the river from Louisville is now abandoned. A set of CSX GE power idles in L&I's yards, December 2001.
NS stays busy an eastbound arrives in Louisville coming off the Kentucky side of the K&I Brideg as a westbound prepares to leave. December 2001.
The westbound now on the other side of the river rolls along the Floodwall in New Albany. Both motors are ex Conrail, on repainted on not. December 2001.
