Autograph Rock is a 200 yard long cliff face approximatly 20-25 feet high.
A regular rest stop for settlers heading west, because of the
fresh water from the Cold Springs Creek.
While there, settlers would often leave their mark upon the sandstone rock face.
There are over 300 engravings in the the soft stone. Some of which dating
as early as 1826. There are also some well known
names such as freight merchant F.B. Delgado from Santa Fe.
