		In June 1991, Operation Welcome Home of Rochester asked the help of Vice President Quayle. The envelope that I am shown here handing to the Vice President contains the Operation Welcome Home Service Commendation and other materials that we had prepared for General H. Norman Schwarzkopf. We asked the Vice President to present the commendation to the general on behalf of the organization. We never knew if the commendation got through to General Schwarzkopf. If anyone out there has information on that, please let me know.
