My last photo in Vietnam was of a young boy near Phu Bai who had live his life with war. The first photo I took on my return to the world was this one of my daughter Laurie. She's about five months old here - she was born when I was on Hill 726 during Operation Double Eagle. And in the middle of that, I received a telegram announcing her birth.

 
 

In memory of LCpl Robert Guy Brown, KIA on Operation Texas on March 21, 1966. LCpl Brown had been the acting artillery FO for Echo Company, 2d Battalion, 4th Marines. He had just turned 19.  Semper Fi.
