This is the village of An Tien. It was the largest populated area I saw in Vietnam until much later in my tour when I was a battery XO and led my battery to a firing position in the outskirts of Hue.

 
 

In memory of LCpl Robert Guy Brown, KIA on Operation Texas on March 21, 1966. LCpl Brown had been the acting artillery FO for Echo Company, 2d Battalion, 4th Marines. He had just turned 19.  Semper Fi.
