		Here's LCpl Eshelman with the other members of the FO team and a number of other Marines from the company to which we were attached. When the photo was taken, we were taking a chow break in the early afternoon. We're in a trench that formed part of the VC defenses. Their positions just were not sufficient to stop us. My recollection is that the temperature was over a 100 degrees and that the humidity was intolerable. We are exhausted. Nearby, you could hear the sound of bulldozers building mass graves for the VC dead. There was a very slight breeze that carried the stench of rotting flesh. Someone passed the word that at the 3/7 CP, about a hundred meters from us here, LCol Bodley was giving a status report on the operation over a telephone link to President Johnson.
