| There are those who place a mystical quality into the life of Kimberley. They say that a large crystaline structure such as the Sullivan ore body and natural geological pressures caused a piezoelectric effect that made the area a place of enchantment and when the ore was exhausted the enchantment faded, or, as one artist stated on his departure from the area that when he first arrived, the mountains spoke to him, and now they no longer speak to him. | ||||||||||||||||||
