As she hangs... (Oct. 2001)
Well, this is the status as of October 11, 2001.  My goal with the rotisserie was so that I could clean the entire underside of the car, fix any rust and then recoat.

You can see the repairs done to the passenger side floor, and I have finished cleaning all the under-coating off the bottom of the car that I had planned on removing.  The area around the spare tire well is still in solid shape, unlike the rest of the car was.  This is why I am not re-doing that area.

The undercoating that was on this car was very thick and when I ground it off, the dust was unbelievable.  I highly recomend some sort of respirator for this.
This shot shows the rear a little better.  I cleaned the uncercoating all the way up to the rear suspension mounts.

Now I only have to sand blast the car to remove any other loose particles and dirt before I spray.
This is a real quick shot of my finished floor repair.  I didn't have to replace the entire floor, but I did have to do some extensive work on the T/C rod mount.
This is a final view of the rear deck repair I started earlier.  You can still see part of my patch showing up just above the right corner.

I think this whole are turned out pretty good.  Also, this area will only be visible when the hatch is open.  So who cares?
YES, You can turn your garage into a spray booth.

6 mil foundation plastic available at any home improvement store.  It comes in a twenty foot wide roll and I cut it into 10' sections then stapled it to the ceiling and taped down the bottom.

I'm going to use this as an area to do the sand blasting that I have left to do.  It'll keep the rest of the garage from looking like a beach!
I won't have a whole lot of room to move around, but it's cheaper than paying someone to do this.  I'm not planning on painting any final color coats in this small area.  (I've got that already worked out.)  But I'm planning on shooting the sealer on the bottom and sparying a bedliner coating to help seal the bottom also.  This area will be fine for this application.
