November, 2001
This is as of November 12, 2001.  Just before Thanksgiving.  The wife gave me a full 2 days to get all this done, uninterrupted.  I sprayed the black epoxy paint on a Saturday and then the bed-liner spray on that Sunday.  Everything worked out great.

The bed-liner system I used was called Rust-o-leum "Road Warrior".  It is designed to be rolled on, but can be sprayed with a texture gun.  (you can buy these at Home Depot)  It flowed out nicely and the coverage is excellent.  The following thumbnails are close-ups of the finish work.  As of 11/25/01, the car is back on its wheels, brakes are functional, and the engine is scheduled to be back in another 3 weeks.  Then off to start on the paint!  Only 6 more months left....
This a little better shot of the rear with the suspension on.  All the suspension was painted with the black epoxy.  Looks great.

Yes I know, I didn't paint the spare tire well.  It still had a good undercoating on it so I left it alone.  Plus it will be hidden by the gas tank, I'm not worried about it.
