| Treatment Rules > (1) Do not medicate aquarium untill you have elimated the enviromental factors as possible cause of the infection, (2) Early action is an important factor in determining the success of any treatment. Once a disease is diagnosed, do not waste time before treatment. (3) Follow manufacturers instructions carefully on all remidies Many medications are toxic when overdosed, (4) A partial water change before treatment dilutes water born pathogens, improves water quality and makes the fish feel better. (5) Remove carbon from all filters before adding medication, as carbon absorbs medication very quickly an renders the medication usless. |
