We would like to thank the Competitors who participated in the 7th Annual Spirit of the Arts Tournament!
There were new schools who competed! Thank you for coming! Schools who we haven't seen in awhile who returned, it was GREAT seeing you all again! And the local competitors who attended. Thank you for supported our Event.
Unfortunately we did not get a big attendance as in the years past. We were getting calls from a dozen schools that morning stating that due to the HIGH gas prices they were unable to drive the distance to compete in our annual event.
We would like to thank our Kenpo students, parents, and our many sponsors:
The Navajo Nation Vice President Ben Shelly, Pueblo of Sandia's Governor Victor Montoya, Sandia Casino, Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA), BHP Billiton, APS Arizona Public Service, 7-2-11 Store in Farmington, and PNM Gas of Farmington.
Stay tune to our website for the information on our next tournament, 14th Annual Southwest Karate Classic Date: TBD ~ Location: TBD ~
