-Three years ago I was directly affected by the system when my brother was arrested and convicted because of accusations of minor sexual abuse to another family member. Anyone with a family may immediately think to themselves how could he have done this? Without exploring all aspects of the case it is seemingly impossible to pass judgment. My brother being regretful and remorseful admitted to what part he played in this matter and tried to do the right thing. Unfortunately my brother who has never been in trouble before and had no adequate funds was appointed a court appointed Public Defender who effectively sold Ken down the river. Ken�s case is one of many fact�s and injustices of law.
-From my family members involved, the police, to the Prosecutors have knowingly suppressed the evidence and failed to investigate all of the facts of the case. This has affected my brothers chance to prove his innocence to many of the allogations made against him. He remains incarcerated because prosecutors withheld favorable evidence, his public defender did not represent or persue a fair case for him, the court allowed fabricated testimony without the backing of proper investigation to the truth, and the judge in the case allowed this all to happen in his court..
