Come To The Point
(Point Edward Centennial Song)

(Point Edward, we love you)

Come, come, come to the Point
Come to Point Edward's Centennial
We're all waiting for you
So do it now, do it soon

Have you seen the Bluewater Bridge
Spanning the River St. Clair
Just look down below
There's a place we all know
Point Edward, we love you

Incorporated as a town
She's part of history
In June of eighteen-seven-eight
Point Edward came to be

So come, come, come to the Point
Come to Point Edward's Centennial
We're all waiting for you
So do it now, do it soon

Have you seen the Bluewater Bridge
Spanning the River St. Clair
Just look down below
There's a place we all know
Point Edward, we love you

A hundred years have come and gone
Our village still stands tall
Prosperity and happiness
Is given to us all

So come, come, come to the Point
Come to Point Edward's Centennial
We're all waiting for you
So do it now, do it soon

Have you seen the Bluewater Bridge
Spanning the River St. Clair
Just look down below
There's a place we all know
Point Edward, Ontario

Oh, Ca-na-da

Date Written:
June 26, 1978

The village of Point Edward, Ontario, Canada
is located right next to Sarnia, and the
Bluewater Bridge (known as the Twin Bridges).
Right across the St. Clair River is the
city of Port Huron, Michigan, U.S.A.

They were all celebrating the 100th year of
Point Edward being established as a town
on the weekend of June 26, 1978

It was a privilege and an honour to write
the Point Edward Centennial Song.
May God continue to bless
this dear little town.
