31. William³ Duncan (Jane² Purdon, Robert¹) (#3001) was born in Lanark County, On May 20, 1846. William died September 22, 1915 at 69 years of age.

He married Violet Reid in Lanark County, On, October 11, 1872. (Violet Reid is #3002.) Violet was born in Lanark County, On February 22, 1848. Violet was the daughter of James Reid and Mary Easton. Violet died February 28, 1922 in Reston, Mb, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred in Reston, Mb.

William Duncan and Violet Reid had the following children:

183 i. James R.⁴ Duncan (#3003) was born in Lanark County, On July 6, 1873.

184 ii. William Duncan (#3004) was born in Lanark County, On November 9, 1874. William died July 1930 in Lanark County, On, at 55 years of age. He married Annie Amell in Lanark County, On, January 28, 1903. (Annie Amell is #3005.) Annie was born in Lanark County, On 1874. Annie was the daughter of David Amell and Elizabeth Hughes.

+ 186 iv. Jane Purdon Duncan was born November 12, 1878.

187 v. Francis Duncan (#3020) was born in Lanark County, On December 21, 1883.

188 vi. Francis Duncan (#3021) was born in Lanark County, On November 21, 1884. Francis died May 31, 1918 in Lanark County, On, at 33 years of age. He married Charlotte Chapman. (Charlotte Chapman is #3022.)

189 vii. Christina Violet Duncan (#3023) was born in Lanark County, On March 22, 1886. She married Albert Kendrick. (Albert Kendrick is #3024.)
