He married Catherine Bartraw in Dalhousie Township, On, March 6, 1874. (Catherine Bartraw is #2281.) Catherine was born March 25, 1850. Catherine died September 8, 1921 at 71 years of age. Her body was interred in Highland Line Cem., Dalhousie Twp., On.

Donald Purdon and Catherine Bartraw had the following children:

135 vi. Mary Ann Purdon (#2371) was born in Dalhousie Township, On April 5, 1886. Mary died August 16, 1904 at 18 years of age. Her body was interred in Highland Line Cem., Dalhousie Twp., On.

+ 136 vii. Donald Alexander Purdon was born June 3, 1888.

+ 137 viii. John Stanley Purdon was born August 10, 1893.

138 ix. Harold Laurier Purdon (#2387) was born in Dalhousie Township, On April 16, 1897. Harold died April 28, 1909 at 12 years of age. His body was interred in Highland Line Cem., Dalhousie Twp., On.
