It sounded more like a fast, repetitive shushing sound than a heartbeat. It was REALLY an amazing thing.
The reality that we are having a baby set in big-time when I heard the tiny heartbeat.
The neat thing is that the Doctor told us beforehand not to be upset
if we didn't hear the heartbeat this early (10 weeks, 2 days).
She said that we might not hear it until around 12 weeks.
( : I guess even in the womb our baby is already ahead of its peers : )
