|BN VISION|

THE HOME OF THE GREAT AMERICANS

The John F. Kennedy Emerald Bn is an emerging shining star.  Located on the west side of San Antonio, this Hispanic culturally rich school is just 2 blocks from Kelly Air Force Base, and has a strong military connection with Fort Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base, and Randolph Air Force Base.  The primary training area for this battalion is Camp Bullis, located on the northwest side of the city.

Kennedy High School is also the home of the Edgewood School District's Vietnam Veterans Memorial.  This monument personifies the communities dedication to duty by honoring 67 Edgewood graduates who died while serving in 1967.  The Emerald Guard honors these men on Memorial Day in recognition for their sacrifices.
