Yenliao Beach
Yenliao Beach is a new beach park, which is just south of Hualien. There are minimal facilities here, but this area is certainly attractive, and this is the closest beach to Hualien where swimming is possible.
Since there are no lifeguards or roped off swimming areas here, it is a good bet that few of the locals would dare to cheat death by trying to swim here. (Although Taiwan is an island, there doesn't appear to be many proficient swimmers among the locals....)
Note: There are also a couple of good seafood restaurants a couple of KM's north of the beach which are worth a try... |
