Wangyou Valley
Wangyou Valley, or the Valley of Forgotten Worries, as translated into English. There are several waterfalls here and a small lake. This area is not a typical tourist stop, so roads are narrow and precarious, (especially the jeep path down to one of the waterfalls) and there are no facilities.
But the scenery here is great, and not having the typical tourist stuff around gives the area a more natural feel. The waterfalls and small lake are pretty easy to get to, since they are within the first few KM's of the access road.
NOTE: This road continues up into the mountains for another 30 KM's, but I have not yet gone up that far. This journey will have to wait for another day.... |
