Sanshientai, Taitung County
Sanshientai

Sanshientai is a rock outcropping on the East Coast that is connected to the main island by a
humped bridge
This is a picture of the author at the summit of this rock formation.

Disclaimer: Since I am now a slightly overweight middle age man who occasionally drinks too much, I would never attempt to climb this rock myself. To create the affect, my image was  cut/pasted at the top by one of my evil computer genius friends.

Sanshientai - which roughly translates to  "Big rocks, connected by humped bridge" in Chinese.

DirectionsEasy to find.  Just drive about 45 minutes north from Taitung on the coast road.  (HWY 11)   When you see the large rock outcroppings connected by a multi-humped red bridge you are there.
