| Meiluen Mountain Park Meiluen Mountain Park in Hualein has recently been renovated. The city has improved many of the walking trails and sitting areas, so now the park is now a lot more attractive that it used to be. The trails in the park are all pretty easy to walk, and from the top of the hill there are good view points of both the port and the city. (The highest elevation is 110 meters) This is a good place to go if you do not have the time to drive up into the "real" mountains.... |

| Directions: Meiluen Mountain Park is located on the north side of Hualien city. You can see the hill from most anywhere in town. The most direct way to get here would be to head north on Linshen Road. however, at present, the bridge crossing the river on this road is out. |
