Houran Pavilion Trail:
This trail is not long, but it is straight up hill if started from the Tienhsiang side. There is a good view of the Paiyang waterfall at about the half way point in the trail, also there is an excellent view of Tienhsiang from the top of the trail.
For those of you who are too lazy to make the walk, but just want to see the view, drive about 5 KM past the hair pin turn at the Lotus Lake trail head, and you can stop at the Houran Pavilion on your left.
Note: The last time that I went up here, the middle of the trail was damaged by a landslide and was not passable, so it would be best to check the trail condition before starting the hike. |
