Antung Hot Springs
The hot springs at Antung are not natural; they are piped into this hotel complex. (I personally prefer the in-the-wild type hot springs...) But, the hotel does have three large open air pools, which are pretty nice... For a small fee, anyone can come and use the hot spring pools. (You don't need to stay at the hotel.)
Since Antung is located close to Nanan, Loshan Waterfalls, and the South Cross Island Highway, I'd recommend combining any visit to Antung Hot Springs with a trip to one of these other locations. (Soaking in an open air hot spring on a cool day is pretty enjoyable after hiking in the mountains.) |
