RECEPTION DETAILS
Party time and food stuff following the ceremony @ 7 p.m. at the Fleet Club Atlantic, CFB Halifax, 2800 Barrington Street.
From the waterfront head west up Lower Water Street to Barrington and follow it past the first bridge. The Fleet Club driveway is on the left before Russell Street.
Ample free parking at the club. The building has separate access from the rest of the base so no worries about getting through security (bring ID just in case though).
Lots of bathrooms there of course, coat room, outdoor smoking area and even a lovely patio overlooking the water you can step out on when you need to cool off from dancing too much.
Dinner to be served with Pan Roasted Pesto Chicken Breast, Herbed Parmesan and Romaine Salad and yummy New York Style Cheesecake. Cash bar open until 1 a.m.
Expect personal favor tokens of thanks, guest book signing, cake cutting, first dances, garter/bouquet toss and all the usual reception festivities. Save up your karaoke love songs to get the bride and groom to kiss.
DJ services provided so you can get down and boogie. He'll even take requests. The MC for the night is Pierre Chiasson, groom's uncle.
