Clouds had darkened the sky and a few drops were falling. The bunny glider eggs at the furthest edge of the track were laying without shelter.. The biggest of the eggs wobbled and tipped over by the added weight of a tear-shaped drop of water.
Breaking when it hit the ground, the egg revealed two small hatchling males wound around each other, tails and limbs interlocked. Wrestling a bit the two hatchlings, one purple-yellow, the other orange-sunset finally got to their feet. Rain started falling harder, while the sky was still sunny at the other end of the tracks, it poured down and drenched the two dragonets.
"I guess were on our own." The yellow-purple said.
"I dont know about that." The orange-sunset said with a smile, "I dont think well ever be alone."
"Until we meet again then, Mirage." The yellow-purple said, bowing his head.
"Until then, Ghaeesh." The orange-sunset said before he darted away.
"Oh, by the way, Im headed for Nidus Otykaii!" Ghaeesh called to his twin.
"Abri!" Mirage answered, "Good Luck!"
