Hello, there, Motown fans...this site is HERE! Here, you'll discover the lowdown on your favorite Motown artists from 1959 to 1971. I'm Ken Gomillia, and I'll be your tour guide...come on!!! ABOUT MY INTEREST IN MOTOWN: My interest in Motown started in around 1996, when I listened to the Beatles' covers of "Money", "Please Mr. Postman", and "You Really Got a Hold on Me". I also heard that Paul McCartney had worked with Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Also, my late mother had always listened to Motown songs since she was a girl listening to radio station WVON in Cicero, IL in the 1960s and early '70s. Today I enjoy listening to Motown on Chicago stations WVAZ (V-103), WILV (Love FM), WDRV (The Drive), and WZZN (True Oldies Channel). |
