Here at Hinch Mountain Big Game Kemmer's we strive to produce dogs that can take a Hog & Bear track as they come, work that track out and produce game at the end of that track. This line of dogs excells in these abilities & they have the attitude & grit to stay with the game until the job is finished. We like to breed the 7/16 Yellow Jack dogs with the Frosty dog's of Kenny, Justin & Mac McClain's & The BJ Buck dogs of Robert Kemmer's. We have crossed these 3 lines very suscessfully & they really seem to work well for us & it produces a rough, gritty run to catch type dog that does not have a reverse. I owe everything I have here on my Yard to Robert Kemmer, he has always been a true friend & mentoir to me & is the best breeder the Mountain Cur Breed has ever seen. He is our guide ( so to speak) when we start to make a cross, he helps in our breeding & he is always the man I call when I want to breed a female to ask him what I need to breed to to get the pups like I want in the woods..... 2008 was a bad year here on Sourwood Mountain, we lost 2 of the best dogs a man could ever ask for & I am very fortunate to have owned them both & have several good dogs out of them.
