Very little is know about these Johnson’s. Some of these left for other areas. They might hold a key to figuring out this family. There were so many here by 1830. Many on tax list that do not show up during the census. What is know about J. John Johnson, was that he died probably pretty young. Leaving behind a young wife and several babies. His widow married John Lambert of Lawrance Co. by 1836. John Johnson’s estate was sold and items were purshased by two other Johnson. These Johnson were Jordon and Jacob.

Little can be found about Jordon and Jacob.
Jordon is said to have been born 1783 in RICHMOND, VIRG. He married in 1808 (Adams Co MS) to SARAH BURNEY (b 1793 VIRG). They had the following children James Talbert 11-1810, Alexander Hamilton 12-1812, David Porter 2-1815, Mary 4-1817, Alexis 11-1818, Jordon Denson 4-1821, Benj. Franklin 12-5-1823, Charles Carrol 5-2-1829, Albert Gallatin 8-8-1831, Thomas Benton 7-4-1838 (Father Of Governer Of Ms)

Jacob is said to been born ~1750-1760. He married Margaret Garrett. They were in Surry Co. NC by 1783. They were in Lawrance Co. by 1830 with their daughter Middia and her husband Aaron Matthews. By 1837 they are found listed in Johnson Co. ARK tax list.
