Family
In my family there are four of us
my father, my
mother , my sister, and myself and I guess we can consider my
sisters husband to be the fifth. My parents are really anxious for my
sister to have her first child so they could become grandparents. I 'am
all so ready for them to have a child so I could be an uncle. I have
a lot of first cousins, on my mothers side I twelve cousins many of
which I'm very close to and some are older than I so didn't get close
to them when we were growing up. On my dad's side I also have a lot of
cousins but I'm not so close them because we were always with my
mothers family when we were little kids. I have two grandmothers, one
of them I'm really close to and the other one I never see. I was never
able to meet either of my grandfathers because they both past away
before i was born. The grandmother that I'm really close to is my
mother's mother, we call her granny. Granny is the nicest person I have
ever known and I know a lot of people. As young children my cousins
and I would go to granny's house all the time either after school
or on the weekends.
My father owns a business in my home town of
Abbeville, LA where they do oil field construction, he also is
the owner of a pretty big farm of about 200 head of cattle and about
300 acres of land. My mother used to work at a bank, but now she works
for my dad as secretary. My sister graduated from LSU and is now a
teacher at Duhnam Elementary in Baton Rouge. Her husband Jimmy also
graduated from LSU in civil engineering and is now a senior vice
president of a company based in Baton Rouge.
