Horse back riding
I have two quarter horses that come from a great blood line. One horse
has a father that was a national champion American Quarter Horse. The
other horse is the half brother to the former national champion. Most
of the time when I ride them its for work, usually pinning up our cows
or cutting out particular cows. Sometimes I get to ride them just for
fun but that doesn't happen very often because I very busy doing other
things. Most of my friends our scared to get on my horses because they
are know to act crazy every once in a while. One of them likes to
buck when he takes off running and the other sometimes forgets how to
stop. Other then that they are some good animals and I enjoy riding
them.
Hunting
Ever since I was a young child my father has always brought me
hunting. I pretty much grew up in the marshes of Vermilion parish. My
father would take duck and deer hunting every weekend during their
respective seasons. By the time I was about eight years old I was deer
hunting by myself, but now of days I'm really not into deer hunting all
that much because it's just to slow for me. I am really into duck and
goose hunting now because there is a lot more action and you joke
around
with your friends during the hunt, unlike deer hunting.
Fishing
As a young boy I would always go on fishing trips with my dad,
either freshwater or saltwater it did not matter he'd always take me
with him. I much rather saltwater fishing than freshwater fishing but I
never pass up a freshwater fishing trip. I don't know why I love
saltwater fishing so much, but I do. My friends and I usually go
freshwater fishing in White Lake, which is in southern Vermilion
parish, where we always catch a good bit of brem and sac-a-lait.
Four wheeler riding
About four months ago I got a brand new honda foreman 450 S, I
treat that bike like my parents treat me, I really love my four
wheeler. My friends and I always go ride our four wheelers in the
afternoons or on the weekends, but my favorite time to ride is at night
with a full moon.
Playing cards
My friends and I play cards all the time most of the time we are drunk
and can't count our money but we still love to play. Most of the time
my best friend Andy wins all the money and I lose very bad but some
times I'll catch a good night. My friend Cory just always loses and we
can't help but laugh at him.
