We arrived Taiwan Chang Kei Shek airport at 5am. There were more white people hanging out in Chiang Kai -Shek at 5am than LAX at 11pm.
I don't know what that means.
All the shops were closed, covered by grey tarps so I looked at the advertisements. Cindy Crawford sells watches and the most popular brand of cigarettes is called Long Life. Villagers in rice hats framed by an orange sunset with LONG LIFE written in scrawly white cursive across the top.
The security guards glared at me when I tried to take a picture.
