I hated Singapore.
It's so clean, so nice, so rich. It reminds me of the worst parts of America. One big shopping mall.
I met up with my friend Tim who distributes 20 Bus around town for me. Turns out he's 16 years old and still in high school. I had to fend for myself til school broke. I took the bus into town and marvelled at the pleasant weather and the agreeable bus system.
I was somewhat successful in the souvenir department. I found a Market Street-like tourist shop with 3 t-shirts for $10, lots of punny magnets ("Singapore is a FINE place to live!") and postcards. I also found a teen girl accessories shop with all the barettes and baby clips your heart could desire. The store was called Aries and it was tucked inside a larger, underground bookshop called Popular.
