  A description of hypertext

Well, isn't this amazing that you found me! I hope you are enjoying your tour. As I mentioned before, I am working on a new program to revolutionize the way hypertext is able to be written. It is well on its way to being finished and I can't wait to be the first one to try it out.
I don't think I mentioned that I love to write. I guess I do have something in common with my technophobic neighbors
Ruby and Julius. The difference between us however is that I write for and on the computer. In fact, I don't even think I have a pen in my house. I probably couldn't even write legibly to tell you the truth. It would seem so archaic to use such a tool.
Instead, creating hypertext with the computer allows the  writing to follow my mind, rather than my mind having to
limit itself to the writing. Linear texts are so boring. The sequence prohibits me from communicating the emotional power that comes from my being. I want to create without rules, controls, a beginning middle or an end. I look to hypertextual writings to challenge me and fixate me. Don't continue with the books and tools of the past. Don't hold on to something that no longer does us justice.
       Become
serendipitious, enjoy the journey rather than the destination.
