Here is my tribute to Patches and Marmalade.

Patches was a dog my grandparents got in the beginning of the 1990s (I think). He was a really great dog and a companion to Allie. He had tumors that would not stop growing and he had to be put down in August of 2001 (I think). Earlier in his life, he lost his tail due to an infection. Patches was very friendly and playful; Allie and Patches could play for hours and loved greeting family and friends.

Marmalade used to belong to my immediate family (my mom, bro, and me) but we then gave her to my grandparents to take care of in 1994. While she was with us, she became a young mom and gave birth to 4 kittens. I think we found her as a kitten during the latter part of the 1980s. She was able to see her kittens grow up to be trouble making cats. She was always loving and demanded lots of attention. In the middle of September of 2001, she just disapeared.
