Kel's Final Words
from CBS' Survivor
II
These were Kel's departing
words before he was to leave the Outback for good:
"First off, there's no
hard feelings. I kind of expected this. I knew right from day one that
it would be hard for me to fit in. I'm a military guy, and the people I
was working with are very unique, special type of people. They're entertainers.
They're singers, songwriters, actors-even a chef that has his own TV show.
It was going to be very hard for me to fit into that mixture. I tried,
I really did. But I don't think that in a couple of days I could have overcome
our differences. Each and every one of them is very special people, and
I feel very, very lucky to be here, and very, very lucky to have met each
one of them. And my razor—use it, use it well. Shave every day!
I wish each and every one of you good luck. You're all winners to me."
