Durian Tunggal Recreation Lake

Situated about 16km from the town, it offers boating, fishing and windsurfing. Jogging paths, refreshment kiosk, camping area and children's playground are all within the recreation lake.
 

Hang Tuah's Well

Located in Kampung Duyong where Hang Tuah, the legendary Malay warrior during the reign of Sultan Mansor Shah, was born. Apparently the water has medicinal values and brings good luck to those who drink it.
 

Malacca Fish World

The complex is an interesting place to take a glimpse at the underwater world in its natural setting. More than 50 species of fresh and saltwater fish are on display in a whale-shaped aquarium. The complex has been landscaped with cascades, caves, open ponds and various vessels to make it more attractive.
 

Alor Gajah's Museum

Exhibits at this museum will give visitors a historical account of the district of Alor Gajah. This district was the site where the Naning War was fought in  1834 in retaliation of tax imposition by the British. Alor Gajah Museum also exhibits Malay, Chinese and Indian cultural artifacts.
 

Air Keroh Recreational Forest

Set amidst a splendid green environment about 11 kilometres from town, one can view rich,  untouched tropical forests with more species than you can ever imagine. Here you can indulge in refreshing activities like trekking, camping, picnicking, staying in houses on tree-tops and also take advantage of the available barbecue facilities and children's playground. Mini ASEAN

This unique theme park portrays the prominent cultural elements of the countries of ASEAN, i.e., Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.
 

Gadek Hot Spring

The Gadek Hot Spring is a popular spot, located along the route to Tampin, about 25 km from Malacca town. The sulphur content in the water is believed to possess curative elements for a number of skin diseases. Handicraft shops and beautiful playgrounds make this spot a perfect outing for your family.
 

Dol Said's Grave

The ninth ruler of Naning who defiantly opposed the imposition of tax on the district by the British. He valiantly resisted British forces on Naning, deploying his troops with an outstanding display of military ingenuity that outsmarted the invading forces on two campaigns. The Naning War, waged in 1834, made Dol Said a hero of exceptional valour that earned him a permanent place in the history of Malacca.
 

Cape Rachado

This enclave is in Negeri Sembilan and 57 km from Malacca town. The hardland forest forms an important guideline for migratory birds, line sparrows, hawks, home buzzards, eagles and swifts. There is also a blue lagoon containing rich marine life and a beautiful beach. The Cape's light house provides a panoramic view of the surroundings.
 

Pulau Besar

This island, located 22 km off mainland Malacca, is a haven for holiday-makers seeking sandy beaches and clear blue waters. The island is an excellent spot for fishing, snorkelling, swimming and picnicking. One can get there through the Umbai Jetty or Malacca Quayside Jetty.
 

Mini Malaysia

As its name suggests, this is a theme complex to enable visitors to view the cultural heritage of the 13 states of Malaysia on a single visit. The complex displays life-sized authentic Malaysian houses crafted by master builders. Each house is furnished with elements highlighting each state's cultural heritage.
 

Crocodile Farm

Located on 3.2 hectares of land in Ayer Keroh, about 20 km from Malacca town. More than 100 crocodiles of various species are found here, including the Albino and humpbacked. It is landscaped to create a natural surrounding conducive for the reptiles. Exciting and suspense-filled performances by the keepers and their crocodiles are held every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday. The farm also has an area for rearing bees and an amusement park for children.
 
 

Jasin Museum

Exhibits at this museum trace the facts and myths of the beginning and development of Jasin as one of Malacca's significant settlements. Among the permanent exhibits at the museum is an account of Sultan Mahmud Shah's infatuation for Puteri Gunung Ledang which should be awe inspiring to romance novelists and lovers alike.
 
 

Tun Teja Mausoluem

This mausoleum is where Tun Teja was buried. She was the daughter of Sri Amar Di Raja Pahang convinced by Hang Tuah to marry Sultan Mahmud Shah. She died in Merlimau, about 24 km from Malacca town, while retreating with members of the Malacca royal family from the Portuguese attack in 1511.
 
 

Tapa Nyai Island Resort

Ideally located on the leeward side of Pulau Besar, is the "must see and experience" Tapa Nyai Island Resort.
