If you like these poems, if you hate these poems, I want to hear about it.  Your opinion matters.  Ok, not really, but you can still tell me!
Pondering
      Sometimes I sit and contemplate,
What is the reason I should wait?
      Should I wait for her/him?
Or should I give in to every whim?
      Our society is so corrupt,
It'd be easy, nice and abrupt.
But there is only one to wait for,
His name is Jesus, He's our Saviour.
Together
Your smiling face is burned on my brain,
I can't imagine ever causing you pain,
Everytime that I close my eyes,
It's brand new, a beautiful surprise.
      It seems to be
      that you and me
      were meant to see
      everything.
      Together.
Inspiration
I just can't seem to put it down,
this pen keeps flying on smooth ground.
      I can't explain the way I feel,
all I know is I want to squeal.
That's the amount of joy I have,
it can't be contained in just a laugh.
Nothing can ever be good enough,
for this woman who's independent, smart, and tough.
She's even willing to hop on a quad,
but most importantly, she loves God!
Pain
      I can't believe I've caused you pain,
the look on your face is driving me insane.
      Even though it was indirect,
I can't get past it, I was incorrect.
I never ever wanted to hurt you,
but I took it too far, and up is what I screwed.
      I'm hoping I can wait 2 years,
that you won't get picked up, and I can have no fears.
But in the meantime I must concentrate,
on improving what I'm bringing to the plate.
Love
Love is a word that's taken lightly,
to many people it's not even slightly,
      meaningful, not to mention mighty.
I want to change this once and for all,
maybe I should start at the mall.
Or maybe hearts can be changed,
by the way His love can rearrange.
Confusion
Why is it so hard to figure out?
This thing called love, what's it about?
How do you know when to go full throttle
and when to kick back and dawdle?
I'm trying to wait for God's perfect timing,
but at what point am I being confining?
I wish I had all the answers
for all those guys who like dancers,
      but I don't.
Close
    Am I drawing close enough,
    to the one I love,
    am I holding tightly,
    or slipping without a glove.
Is there more that I can do
to show Him He's the one?
Or should I just do my best,
cause the life He gives is so much fun!
